On 2/6/18, I had the opportunity to talk with Ms*** regarding the complaint that she lodged against Heartland Credit with the Revdex.comIn an effort to assist her through her financial hardship, we are rescheduling her account with a new due date of March 15, and payments due by the 15th of
each month thereafterThis adjustment brings the customer's account totally up to date which improves her overall credit rating with Heartland Credit and the credit bureau. I verified with the borrower that the attempt to contact her via *** *** was sent as a private message and that she was the only party that could view the messageThe message stated, "*** can you please try to call me at HCC ***"The message did not disclose personal or private information and made no mention that her account was past due or that this was an attempt to collect a debt. Our company policy states that we- under no circumstances- share personal and confidential information with any third party that is not signed on the loan agreement without the borrower's consentI am revisiting this policy with Heartland Credit employees to ensure that they fully understand expectations and that importance of safeguarding our borrower's privacy. I greatly appreciate Ms*** for bringing these items to my attention and I look forward to the opportunity to earn her long term businessI have provided her with the phone number to our corporate headquarters and my personal cell phone number and have asked her to contact me directly if she has any additional questions or concernsIt is my hope that she is fully satisfied with the steps that we have taken to resolve this matter.
