Oct 2014, I hired This Attorney when I was injured in a car accident at fault of the other driver We settled with the insco October of last year He told me that Medicare had paid my medical bills for the injuries I was seeking help with at Hospital, Drsand Physical Therapy, and he needed to deduct those from the amount of we settled for, and pay Medicare backThere was also a fee for the *** ambulance he was supposed to pay alsoI've brought ambulance bills to his office and he never paid themLast Friday, I go to my bank to get money from my Social Security check and find money missingSaturday, I get a letter from the Treasury Dept stating they attached my social security check for a debt I owe
I had no idea what this could be from, so I called them this week I found out it was medicare that put the lean against my check for the medical bills that was not paid from my attorney
