Tree Canopy Specialist

As a customer service rep, I am not sure how this guy is still in business. He is rude, argumentative, and a liar. He picks and chooses to remember bits of information that suits him. He demanded cash which I thought was kind of strange, but requested cash before the job was completed. I believe he is a scam artist that wouldn't have completed the job had I paid up front. I believe he thinks he can bully people into stuff. Be weary of this company.

Failure to complete job.
On September 5,2017 Professional Tree Service had removed five trees and trimmed four others. Part of the agreement was the removal(grinding) of four stumps. One stump was removed and while working on the second stump the drive belt on the rental stump grinder broke. James told me that they would return to finish the job because they were working in the area. I have called James several times and have been promise that they would be here next week. It has been over ten months and again last week James told me he would be here next week and again a no show.

In over 35 years in the commercial property management industry, this was by far the worst experience in my entire career. He is "hot tempered", has a filthy, foul mouth, makes up stories as he goes, does not have a crew, does not own his equipment as he will tell you he does, and I firmly believe he never has the intention of completing any jobs; he takes your deposit money and does not return, threatened me for more money after taking our $13,000 deposit and not performing any work! I wiish I read his reviews BEFORE hiring him! We are headed to civil and criminal court!

I hired James R to remove 4 trees and trim a couple of trees. His company came and took down the trees and trimmed the trees and put the debris on a neighbors property and promised to remove it in two weeks max. It has been over a month with many calls to James and so many lies from him about when the removal would be and still no removal. Now he claims since it is not on my property his job is done.
