Had a contract for Tree Times to remove a large oak tree on our property. 3 hours into the task their bucket truck tipped over onto our home causing $17,000 in damages.
Now they are demanding payment for the 3 hours work they did before damaging our home. They have threatened legal action and threatened to place a lien on our home.
Just ethically and morally wrong on their part. Poor poor customer relationship.

I rarely write reviews but thought I should because of the exceptional service I received from Tree Times.
The first night in our new home, half of the bradford pear tree in our front yard came crashing down, onto the sidewalk. New to the area, I called around to local tree experts to see what could be done, and to get quotes. A few businesses didn't answer or I got voice mail. One said he'd call me back but never did. Another said he couldn't come by to even look at it until the following week. I called Tree Times. A friendly woman named Heather answered and while noting that the staff were on other scheduled calls, she contacted the owner and explained my situation. He personally came out within 30 minutes of that call. Billy was professional, extremely knowledgeable, and very personable. I knew immediately that this was the company that I wanted to work with. I ultimately made the decision to have the entire tree removed. While I was aware they already had several other jobs on the books, Billy said he and his crew would be out the next day to remove the section that had fallen and scheduled us for the remainder removal a few weeks out. The next day, my husband and I were amazed at how quickly and efficiently the guys worked and especially the condition in which they left our yard, sidewalk, and driveway. I can say with confidence that they left it cleaner than it had been even before the tree fell! We went to pay the owner for their work, but he refused to accept any payment until the job was done and the entire tree was removed. Class act!
The crew arrived yesterday afternoon to take down the remainder of the tree and grind the stump. Again, this group of guys were pleasant to talk to, very polite, professional, efficient, and did a great job cleaning up afterwards.
Tree Times will be my go-to for any and all future work. I'm definitely scheduling them to trim the canopies on the rest of the trees on our lot this fall.
Thank you, Billy, Heather, and crew for a job well done!

Review: [redacted], came out once to the house on 3/28/13 to do an estimate for the work that needed to be done on our yard. Work was to begin on 5/7/13. It rained that day. After receiving a text message that we would reschedule, I contacted the office to do just that. After 3 emails and 2 phone calls later, I finally was rescheduled for 5/17. I expressed concern for the date because we were to have our fence installed on 5/20/13. [redacted] reassured me that they could get the work done in 2 days. Work was partially completed on 5/17 and said they would be back on 5/20 to complete the work. I had to push my fence people back a couple of days. 5/20 came and no one showed. After several calls, I was told by [redacted] they would be there by 11am, no show, then 2pm, no show at all. Tuesday morning I called again, [redacted] and [redacted] reassured me that the crew would be there by 11am. No one showed. Called again at 12pm, said they would be there by 1. 230 they show up. They clean up the rest of the logs and cut down the rest of the trees that day. Said they would be back to do the rest the next day. [redacted] calls to see what they had left to do. I told him what still needed to be done and he went off on me on the phone because I told him I had to push my fence people back a month because they were not done with the work with the trees. [redacted] went off on me about communication between my husband and myself, I handed my phone to my husband. As [redacted] was yelling at my husband, for going off on his wife about communication in his office between his crew and himself, he let him know he never spoke to his wife. Once my husband got [redacted] to calm down, he agreed to come out to the house to speak to us about what needed to be done still on the house. He never showed the next day and has still not shown up to speak to us. Instead he contacted me through text message to say what was going to be done. We told him he needed to come to the house to speak to us. He never showed.Desired Settlement: The matter is still not resolved as the owner has still not come by to speak with us. Instead, he sent us an invoice by email that is dated for work completed on 3/28/13 and the invoice is for 4/1. They are the most unprofessional company that we have ever dealt with. If anything, they need to send us a correct invoice by mail for the correct dates of service and a new due date and actually come and speak with us about the work that was completed before payment is rendered.

Tree Times Tree Service and Stump Grinding

We contacted Tree Times to have a large Bradford Pear and a large Maple removed. Both stumps needed to be ground and the maple had large exposed roots that also needed removal. We did have to wait a few weeks for the estimate, but with it being busy tree service season were okay with that. After the estimate, we scheduled our service and was pleased with our business up to that point. On the day of service, the company showed up at 8:00 am and started work right away. The Bradford Pear tree can down and was ground up fairly easily. The maple was a different story.

The tree needed to be brought down in pieces and for the most part, this was a smooth process. One of the limbs was tied to another and dropped like a hinge. The limb was much too large and it came down onto my fence, breaking off the tops of two fence boards, crushing a rose bush and wire garden border, and breaking a landscape light. The crew was quick to remove it and went about their business. The work continued until my husband called asking what had happened. I had no idea that anything was wrong and asked what he was talking about. Apparently, when the stump grinder equipment was being removed from the back yard, the machine was too wide for the gate and the operator forced the machine through, breaking the gate. The worker never knocked on the door to tell me and told his dispatcher that he thought no one was home. I inspected the gate and took pictures to send to my husband and the dispatcher at the office. While in the back yard, I noticed the fence/garden where the tree limb had fallen and that the roots were not removed as stated in our contract. A decision was made that the company would evaluate the problems and that we would decide a route for repair after the owner was contacted. The worker left without the contract or payment. The next couple days we were contacted by the office to try and resolve the issues, and the office representative was very helpful and respectful. We set up an appointment for the [redacted], [redacted], to come out and observe the damages and inspect the unfinished work. On the day of the appointment, the owner called my husband and stated that he had been to the property and that the fence damage was already discussed with me before, and that pictures were taken. He also said that we were to mark which roots we wanted them to come back and fix and that he would fix the gate. My husband asked to see the fence pictures he had taken and they were of the broken fence, but after the damages were done. At no point had I discussed any damages to [redacted]. My husband replied to the email and requested to know when the company was going to come out and repair these damages, and we have yet to hear anything back. The majority of the worked was proficient and even with the damages to our property we were pleased with how things were being handled. After the recent developments and the behavior by the owner, [redacted], we are completely dissatisfied and hope this review reaches as many potential customers as possible.
