Treeline Builders, Inc. Reviews (1)

On 05/09/15 at approx 4:45 pm, I received a call from [redacted] stating his son had texted him stating it was warm in the rear of the Limousine that was rented for his son & friends event. I asked [redacted] if he had directly contacted the driver in regards to this issue & he replied no....

I advised Mr [redacted] that I would contact the driver, [redacted] to find out what the issue was and then would call Mr. [redacted] back to discuss. I immediately called [redacted] and asked him if the air conditioning was working and he replied yes - it is coming out very cold in the front vents & that it is also working in the rear vents of the car. [redacted] did mention that the prom kids did not enter the vehicle until 20-25 minutes after the scheduled pick up of 4pm so the vehicle was idling during that entire time in direct sunlight and did not have the increased rpms to chill the A/C Freon down faster as normally down the freeway at 55 mph. I also asked if any of the kids had complained directly to him about the inside air temperature & he replied no, since he informed them at the time of departure that the inside temperature does not work as well at idle and would start to cool down once the vehicle was going down the freeway. I then immediately returned Mr [redacted]'s call and advised him that the driver stated the A/C was fully operational & that the driver would have contacted me immediately if there were any problems as per our company policies and procedures. The driver had also completed the required Daily Vehicle Inspection Report prior to the run & no deficiencies were noted including the entire A/C system. Since the vehicle was idling for 20 minutes at the pick up location, being a black car in direct sunlight with all windows & doors closed, the inside temperature in this 14 passenger Black Limousine would slightly increase in median temperature and by opening the doors for 13 passengers would also cause a significant loss in the rear interior cabin temperature. Not to mention that each passenger is at a median body temperature of approx 99 degrees, which would also contribute to an overall temporary increase in interior temperature.I also advised Mr [redacted] that based on these circumstances,  the interior temperature would take approx 45 minutes to 90 minutes to cool down the entire vehicle to an average of at least 68 degrees at the higher rpms. Since there is almost 600 cubit feet of air space in a 34 foot ultra-stretch 14 passenger Limousine, this will take at least four times longer than a regular passenger car to cool the interior. Also, since the first stop was 45 minutes to the State Capital for pictures from the pick up location, the vehicle would have begun to start cooling down to more comfortable levels. However, at this scheduled stop the vehicle would once again be idling for an additional 20-30 minutes in the sun, and the rear doors would be opened and closed twice for unloading and reloading of passengers. So the whole cooling down process would begin again. Then after pictures they went 10 minutes down the road to a restaurant for dinner, again not allowing the maximum cooling process to finish.I then advised Mr [redacted] that we also always include an abundance of complimentary sodas & waters on ice inside the limo & also extra beverages on ice in an ice chest in the trunk, so in the event of any manufactured mechanical A/C compressor failures, that the passengers can always keep hydrated. I also advised Mr [redacted] that the passengers can always roll down the back windows to get more air flow through the vehicle if they preferred. Since the outside temperature was approx only 78 degrees on this date & not triple digits, this too was an immediate option to help keep them cooler if they did not want to wait for the A/C system to recirculate all the air temperature inside the vehicle to more comfortable levels. This vehicle, along with the rest of our entire fleet, was checked out personally by myself as required on a company inspection fleet sheet on 05/08/15. This vehicle had noted no mechanical deficiencies including the a/c compressor temperature readings for the air temperature at idle which read as follows: Front Driver Vent 48 degrees, Center Rear Passenger Vent 58 degrees, Rear Passenger Vent 68 degrees. I again checked the A/C temperature readings upon my return to the office at 9 am on 05/11/15 & received the exact same readings as I had noted on 05/08/15. In fact the vehicle is still reading these same readings as of today & we have been operating it throughout the 100-110 degree days here in the entire North Valley. In conclusion - I also asked [redacted], the driver, if there were any complaints from the clients inside the limo in regards to the a/c system at the end of the evening & he replied no, only that the kids were laughing & having a great time the entire night & that also a few of them even thanked him for his services at the end of the evening. Since all services were completed in full as per the contract & that this vehicles A/C system was working exactly per the Manufacturer specifications with no deficiencies found before, during or even after the run by myself or the driver as per the required vehicle inspection reports, we respectfully decline the request of a $200 refund. However, we do appreciate Mr [redacted]'s business & would be willing to grant a one time complimentary upgrade to this client on their next limousine rental available on any future event or date up to a value of a $120 discount which is valid until 05/09/16 one year from the date of this previous run.Regards, [redacted], CEOElite Limousine & Transportation LLC[redacted]
