To Whom it May ConcernOn 01/30/Customer purchased a *** *** from our dealershipApproximately 5:Prm on 03/13/Customer pulled into dealership complaining of check engine light on dash board was onCustomer was given name and phone number of a repair center that dealership
recommends to its customers for repairsCustomer was also informed that at the time of the evening that it presently was that repair center would not be able to look at car since the close of the business day had already occurredIt was explained to customer with the impending snow storm that was forecast for that evening that we did not know if repair center would be open the following dayit was also explained to customer that sometimes in cold weather that vehicles can set computer codes that area onetime occurrence and may not come back on againCustomer was given the repair centers contact information to have vehicle looked at and was also given the option for dealership to clear code from the computer system and to see if the light would return back onCustomer chose to have the code clearedCustomer was advised if light turned back on to contact repair Center.In regards to customer stating dealership has not returned calls it is believed that customer may be attempting to contact dealership on a phone number that dealership no longer receives calls or text from The dealerships main number which is listed on customers receipt and all documents which a phone number is listed is ###-###-####If customer needs to contact dealership this is the number that should be used.RegardsTreen and Byrne Auto Sales Inc

I am rejecting this response because:  I did in fact inform the dealership of this issue, and all the dealership done was clear the code. The service performed was done by [redacted].  When [redacted] contacted [redacted] warranty company, the warranty company informed [redacted] that the part to be repaired is NOT covered, therefore I had to pay $200 in cash out my pocket which I want reimbursed back.If I knew that the car had any faulty parts, I would of never purchased the car overall. In addition I didn't even have the car for 2 months when this problem happened and discovering a part was faulty.The code was [redacted]:  intake rocker arm solenoid valve stuck off. This was caused by a faulty rocker arm solenoid. This is documented on my paperwork from [redacted].

05/19/2017To Whom it May Concern,I still have not been informed of what exact part was replaced but I am sure it was in working order when vehicle was purchased. Did customers mechanic contact warranty company to see if part was a covered item or a item that is not covered under warranty.RegardsTreen and Byrne Auto Sales
