to come to an agreement. They replaced the frame and I was able to pick the bicycle up on April 2nd.

Review: I came on holiday from the U.K. To live with my daughter and her family for 88 days. I bought myself a bike from Trek, paying over $500 for it.In the last 2 months I've had 4 punctures and after going out on it today, the back tyre is going down again. Surely a bike costing this much money should give better service than this. I always stay on the road in the cycle lane or on the sidewalk. I'm 81 so I don't go offroad or anything like that.In England we complain to the ombudsman about this sort of thing but my daughter tells me to email you.Desired Settlement: I've suggested a replacement above, that is - tyres that don't puncture so easily.I've been riding bikes for over 70 years and have never had such a problem. I'm either the unluckiest cyclist alive or the tyres aren't up to the job.The bike is at this address for any nspection needed.

Review: Took my Jamis bicycle to have front deraillure installed/ pedals and handle bar wrap. Received a call a week later informing me that while tightening the deraillure the front brazon broke and was told maybe it had a prior crack. I was told I should find someone to weld it as there is nothing they can do. Took it to metal guy and explained the story I was told and he informed me there is no indication of prior crack as there was no discoloration, chances are it was over torqued on by the technician. It was in perfect condition when it was taken in. Took to Jamis authorized dealer and they said the same thing about being over torqued. I contacted the GM at Trek and he was not helpful and the story changed as to how it broke from technician, to manager to General manager. Emailed and spoke to GM on the phone and was told they are not responsible. I contacted Trek corporate office and was told to contact the owner . I am currently awaiting to be contacted by the owner.Desired Settlement: As I informed the Manager, I am not seeking a new bicycle, nor a discount on a newer model. Jamis has one frame for my bike the exact frame and paint scheme but the replacement cost is $1080.00. Welding it will weaken the structural integrity along with ruin the paint as the bicycle is aluminum and carbon fiber.
