Review: I had a stamped concrete patio put in my backyard in May 2012 which cost me $4000. The property was a mess after the job was complete and there was cememnt dust all in my pond. After I had to contact Tim the owner of the company who I only saw once for the estimate his one worker did come back to clean up the mess. Just after one year the patio was put in I started to know the cracks which are purposely put in so the patio can expand started to break a part. Right around the 2 year anniversary of the patio I started to see clear damage where it was actually breaking apart in pieces in random areas around the patio. It didn't even look sealed anymore. The spots are not cracks its the cement just crumbling. I contacted Tim right away after I saw the first spot and he told me he wasn't in the business of doing stamped concrete patios anymore but that he would come out and look at it (after trying to put blame on me that I must of put salt on my patio - I put NOTHING on my patio by water) but he didn't know when since he doesn't live or work close by. I am a customer that paid him almost $4K and after trying to get him to come out for 3 months (which he just stopped answering my calls, emails and texts)the problem areas kept getting worse and more spots arised, so I called various other local contractors in the concrete business to look at it, I finally found someone that could help me. He stated the concrete was clearly not mixed properly, the seal was most likely a cheap water based seal and that the job was not done right.I now have to pay $1,000 to have the patio patched in all the spots that are breaking apart, the color most likely wont match, and then powerwashed and re-sealed. This should never have been an expense of mine just 2 years after having the patio put in. I gave Tim many chances to come out and fix the problem, now the large cost is on me and it is unacceptable for the serivce I expected and was told. I want reimbursement for the fix of my patio.Desired Settlement: I want the amount reimbursed that it is costing me to repair the patio back to the state it should be in after 2 years. Bad practice and material was used. The owner never came to my property to manage the job and negligent work was performed. $1,000
