no issues with the foundation that were covered by the terms of the Tuff-N-Dri 15-Year Limited Warranty. We did not go to a 20-Year Warranty until 2003, so this homeowner does not have a 20-Year Warranty. The Warranty Document is a 15-Year Document, and the Tuff-N-Dri System was applied on September 1st, 1999. This warranty is now expired.
The TBS Select Contractor that inspected the foundaiton in 2013 stated that the foundation drains were buried and not able to be located, and that the leaks were at the front porch where there were 4 inch settlement gaps for water to pour in over top of the installed Tuff-N-Dri System. The contractor also stated that there was standing water against the home, and that a proper 5% grade away from the foundation was not established. This appears to be a water management and drainage issue, and not an issue where there is water penetrating through the installed Tuff-N-Dri System.
At this point in time, TBS is not willing to take any action on this claim. The warranty is expired, and there are no leaks into the foundation that would have been covered under the terms of the Tuff-N-Dri Limited Warranty. Thank you very much.
