Once again, Mr [redacted] did not ask for a Honda winch at any time before or during the sale He told my parts manager that he assumed it would be a Honda winch. If he had asked for a Honda winch he would have been charged an extra $at the time of sale and then would have received a Honda winch My offer remains the same Mr [redacted] can being the mounting plate and winch back for a refund or he can pay the $for a Honda winch If he would like a refund, he has until 8/31/to return the above itemsThank you, [redacted]

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:I called Jim Trenary after I had called *** in Union City Tennessee I had built the bike online using Honda's website I had first called *** because that is where most people from my town buy their bikes I explained to the ***'s sale person that I was looking for a Honda ESP in camo color with the following options: Honda hard roof, Honda soft back window, Honda front bumper upgrade, Honda soft doors, Honda hard coat two piece windshield, Honda winch, and Honda winch mounting plate They priced the bike to me with a guaranteed delivery date I then called Jim Trenary Motorsports because my younger brother had purchased a Honda Pioneer from them I asked to speak to a sales person and was transferred to *** who worked with me I explained that I had priced a Honda Pioneer ESP in camo color with the following options: Honda hard roof, Honda soft back window, Honda front bumper upgrade, Honda soft doors, Honda hard coat two piece windshield, Honda winch, and Honda winch mounting plate I told *** what *** had priced the bike at with all of the options He said They COULD NOT match the price because *** was such a large high volume dealer The sales manager and staff all knew who *** was and acknowledged they were overly competitive because of their size After several calls between *** and myself we came to terms on the bike, options, price (which was slightly higher), delivery date, and he stated " The sales Manager did not want to lose a deal to ***" We discussed the delivery date at length because some of the options had to be shipped in I was told the bike would be ready for me to pick up Saturday at 1:00pm I drove hours to pickup the bike at Jim Trenary and when I arrived I was told they had issues with installing the options and the bike was not ready I sat at the dealership until it closed and I was the last person to leave the their lot Even the employees had left before me My only test drive of the bike was loading it on the trailer. The over time Jack is referring to "paying his guys to work overtime for me" has NOTHING to do with me I was told every minutes during my hour wait that the technician had NEVER install some of the options, they were having issues figuring out how to install them, and the technicians had to walk away and regroup because they were getting frustrated I was told " the instructions were not very good, we are calling Honda to ask them how to install them, and we are looking on the internet for instruction" All of this was repeated by the sales person, sales manager, parts people, and service I was even given a complete oil change kit (filters, and quarts of Honda oil valued at $65.00-$75.00) for my wasted time I was happy with that After I got home I had to correct all of the mistake they had made installing the options The back window straps were secured to the bar of the dump bed preventing it from dumping, the doors would not shut or open because the were in a bind, the seat belts would not retract because the were in a bind, and the windshield brackets were installed to low preventing the doors from shutting I was missing the inside handles and the outside door releases Some of the errors cannot be corrected because of the holes drilled into the plastic dash and doors. The Honda winch is made by Warn and there is a reason why it cost $more than a KFI winch Jack may sell a thousand KFI winches but they are not the same as a Warn winch It was a very simple way for Jim Trenary to save $for themselves but that is not what I TOLD them I wanted I never saw Jack and never spoke to Jack until I realized they had substituted the Honda (Warn) winch with a much cheaper KFI winch At that point Jack told me "I got what I ordered, I had no idea what I was talking about, I was at fault, and I need to educate myself" I know a KFI winch is not even close to a Warn winch as I have used both types of winches before Jack may not know the Honda winch is made by Warn and that's why he believes KFI is just as good as Honda.I want what I ordered, the Honda winch or the $difference
Sincerely,

Once again, Mr. [redacted] did not ask for a Honda winch at any time before or during the sale.  He told my parts manager that he assumed it would be a Honda winch. If he had asked for a Honda winch he would have been charged an extra $500 at the time of sale and then would have received a Honda winch.  My offer remains the same.  Mr. [redacted] can being the mounting plate and winch back for a refund or he can pay the $500 for a Honda winch.  If he would like a refund, he has until 8/31/2016 to return the above items. Thank you, [redacted]

ID# [redacted] called into Jim Trenary Motorsports several [redacted]es after taking delivery of his Honda UTV.  He talked to our parts manager [redacted], during the conversation Mr. [redacted] said he assumed he was getting a Honda winch.  He was never told he was getting a Honda winch...

by anyone here.  We do not even stock the Honda winch because they are $500 higher than what we use.  We have sold thousands of the KFI Chief wenches with no problems at all.  When I talked with Mr. [redacted] I told him that in my opinion he has a better winch anyway.  I also stated that his options were to bring the winch plate and the winch in and I would refund the money he spent on the winch, or he could pay the $500 difference and we would order him a Honda winch so that we could switch it out for him.  The third option I offered him was to keep everything the way it is currently. We went and picked this unit up for him, paid guy's over[redacted]e to get it ready for him when he needed it.  I think the offer to refund the money for the wench on return of the wench and mounting plate was more than fair. Thank You, [redacted]
