To whom it may concern, I read this complaint and have explained to Ms [redacted] that we would not do specific work that was not on the written contract Ms [redacted] , said that she wanted a kitchen in her basement, which was not on the written contract and I told her there is not enough money for that kind of project and we would have to pull permits and get inspections which was not on the written contract Ms [redacted] , failed to tell you that we did do some addition work for her which was not on the written contract and I gave her $1900.00, for her mortgage payment, [redacted] but obviously that is not enough for Ms [redacted] , which I thought she would be grateful, but obviously not as she is trying to discredit my company Also, Ms [redacted] says I didn't contact her, but my general manager, Nabeel C [redacted] who handles my residential projects and was the initial salesperson was in contact with her, but she refused to deal with him We have tried to schedule work with Ms [redacted] , but she refuses to move forward, until I meet her demands I will send a copy of the estimate, signed contract from Ms [redacted] and emails from Ms [redacted] and me Please note there was no kitchen work in estimate or contract, thank you

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Good Afternoon, Mr [redacted] :Per our earlier conversation, I am submitting a written reply to your December 8, email re-notifying me of the response the Revdex.com received from Trench Flooring & Remodeling (re: my complaint filed on 10/31/17.)As explained, I was out of town during the entire month of November and I was not awarethat the Revdex.com sent me instructions to reply within days of 11/13/ Thus, my complaint (# [redacted] ) got automatically closed and I am petitioning you that it promptly be re-openedIt is clear to me, now, that his word "means nothing" and that I must hire someone else to do the extra work desired My complaint deals EXCLUSIVELY with the money he accepted (just shy of TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS...) on 8/30/and the failure to complete the job as promised within the calendar month of September Trench Flooring & Remodeling only sent a worker on days (sometimes partial days) after starting this assignment late on 9/20/with numerous delays, excuses, and lies about how they would make up the lost time with multiple workers + weekends on the job Among other things, this company negligently failed to order materials on time, and were untruthful about it -- often attempting to blame vendors Trench Remodeling also missed the extended deadline (agreed upon for October 7, 2017) and MrPaul T*** only BEGAN scrambling to communicate with me after I issued an ultimatum regarding filing a Revdex.com and a Maryland Home Improvement complaint At that point, he "acted" like he cared Trench Remodeling has been substantially over-paid for the percentage of work completed My mortgage company is sending their inspector immediately following the holiday, and I will have additional written documentation validating my above statementAt the time that Paul T [redacted] abandoned the job at my home, he had already deposited a check from my mortgage company (in the amount of $11,897.50) and he understood the agreed upon initial "draw" for his company to start work was $10k (as stipulated to him prior in writing.) The $1,overage sum that I intentionally withheld from the bank's first check was to help me with a temporary financial hardship -- and the full sum subtractedwas being replaced (in full, by me, several weeks later) accompanying the final payment at job's end For MrT [redacted] to make it sound AS IF HE GAVE ME $1,is just an outright lie His company was only scheduled to receive ten thousand dollars, and he accepted $9, (after he spontaneously "rounded up" by $and provided an even $1,to me) So, be clear, he did not GIVE ME a single penny this was (and still is) insurance claim money earmarked to fund my basement repairs. It is also an outright lie that Trench Remodeling "allegedly" told me that they would not do specific work which was not on the written contract (as he now misrepresents, and claims in his untruthful response.) The clearest proof of this particular lie is that Trench Remodeling erected a partial wall and a door in my basement (per our extra 'verbal' agreement.) This wall and door did not put itself up Unless Paul T [redacted] forges the contract now, you will not discover any such workmanship involving a wall and door on the paperwork for my address. On the day that MrPaul T [redacted] accepted the funds to begin the job, we had a lengthy conversation about twoextra things I hoped to hire him to do I shared with him that I hoped to take in a roommate/tenant down inmy basement, and that I desired a wall/door separating the upper house and needed a stove/refigeratorinstalled in the basement He said okay --- and discussed numerous options to accomplish 'venting' the stove and alerted me that a permit would need to be pulled to run the volt cable from the fuse box He said thathe does it all the time, and described drilling a hole through the exterior brick of the house toward the back yard(These are not things I automatically know about, and I learned them all from MrT***.) I was, indeed, grateful when I believed he would keep his word and that it could help me to bring in a roommate to assist with covering my expenses He is simply dishonest That is what discredits his company, and not some "random" attempt by me to bring him down He is simply covering his tracks, albeit poorly, now He is probably the worst businessman I have ever encountered, and people in the community SHOULD ABSOLUTELY BE WARNED.Since MrT [redacted] blames me for not dealing with his General Manager The Revdex.com should also know that this person (MrC***) and I communicated well initially I became extremely uncomfortable dealing with him on September 29, when he engaged me in a text conversation after 8:PM in the evening and abruptlyquestioned me whether I would have a problem making love to someone who didn't speak English (I was shockedthen, and still am.) I hoped to inform MrT [redacted] that such offensive behavior from his employee is eventually going to get him sued by somebody --- but MrT [redacted] NEVER RETURNED ANY OF MY CALLS, TEXTS, OR EMAILS This was not something I wished to tattle-tell on a voice mail message Yes, I still have the text transcript saved of this extremely inappropriate night-time conversation from MrT***'s General Manager I was more frightened by it than angry At the end of the conversation, MrC [redacted] writes "This is not going well." (I dowonder how he had EXPECTED it to go ???)According to the Maryland Home Improvement Commission, Trench Flooring & Remodeling has a history of poor customer service (and has previously needed to make restitution to avoid losing their license to operate.)I hope that my complaint will be publicly posted on the Revdex.com website. This is a classic example of a company that the public should be warned about!BUYER BEWARE the "seemingly great start of a relationship" with this company It's all downhill after the salesmanship, and after making that great initial impression !!!! [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Please review my complaint in its entiretyI stated, "I removed previously discussed work from the job which made my bill 'PAID IN FULL'" I wasn't disputing if the company refunded what turned out to be an overpaymentI am submitting this complaint for the lack of professionalism demonstrated by this company. My original appointment was scheduled for May 20, 2016, at 9amYour electrician didn’t show up until 3:00pmI think that qualifies for being six hours lateMy second appointment was scheduled for May 23, 2016, at 9am, and Everette didn’t show up until after 3:30pm – without the electricianI have a copy of the voice message I sent to your company but this website wouldn’t allow me to attach itI also have a copy of my phone records whereas I called Everett to talk about the issueI think this also qualifies for being six hours late. After speaking with Everette on the 23rd, I was promised that all work would be completed upon our return from vacation after Labor Day – at 9amUpon our return, Everette was again late and notified us of their delayAt this point, I terminated your company and asked for a refund for work that hadn’t been completedAfter calming down, I realized that your company was supposed to complete work on my door and CORRECTLY align my pendant lighting – which, according to your company’s policy, all work is guaranteedI asked for a partial refund due to the constant lack of professionalismI find your statement rather facetious when you stated your electrician wasn’t comfortable working for meSuch an inane statement coming from a business owner, especially when a customer only wants work done correctlyI wanted your electrician to use a leveler to ensure the light were straight, he did not – consequently, my lights were not straightThe problem he had was me wanting him to stick to my written contract everything from adding an additional light switch to ensuring my lights were straightI have since used another contractor to correct my lights and holes left in my wall and ceilingI most assuredly fail to see any exaggeration on my partAgain, I am not a business owner, but I would think the owner would personally call me to find out what was going on and why any customer would demand a refund from his company – especially if the owner believes there has been no wrong doing.Again, total lack of professionalism and lack of dedication to his craft.R/s, [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

The first thing that is incorrect is the customer did not pay in full. The customer had given us a deposit for electrical work and then later decided to cut out some of the work before the job was suppose to start, so this reduce the price lower than the depositThe customer failed to mention
that I had given him a check back for the difference, I'm not sure why he didn't mention that in the email since he cashed the check I do admit the electrician was late, but not hours late, again the customer seems to exaggerate The electrician did do some work, but the customer was not happy with his work and the electrician said he was not comfortable working for this customer, so we reimbursed the customer $ 414.00, which the customer requested and cashed the check, but again failed to mention it in his email to Revdex.com

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:Mr***:This is my FINAL RESPONSE to the pack of lies from contractor, Paul T***.It is a waste of time to continuously goback-and-forth with someone dishonest. What is the next step "now" from the Revdex.com ???My reply is as follows:1. First of all I am not Mrs*** (that would be my deceased mother.) At a minimum, MrT*** could make enough effort to get my name correct.2. Check the dates that MrT*** began"reaching out" to come back and finish thework. The contract completion deadline had already been missed TWICE by then, and this company had proven itself to be highly unreliable. The fact that MrT*** totally"slips up here" and admits they wanted to ***COME BACK*** and finish the work is "proof" they abruptly abandoned the job.3. It is a lie that Paul T*** told me theywould not do any extra work beyond thescope of the contract (as evidenced by thefact that they absolutely DID work outside the scope of the contract) but all of that is irrelevant to the issue at hand. As I statedbefore, this dispute is not about the extrawork from a verbal agreement --- it is aboutthe "written contract" and how T*** was vastly overpaid for what he completed on it by the contractually specified deadline. All subsequent groveling on the part of MrT*** to "come back and finish the job" happened on the following month thereafter. It was within my right to decline any continued relationship with this awful company.4. Being stuck with material he does not need is ANOTHER ENORMOUS LIE being fed to you by Paul T***. I have a written text confirmation that he still had no update on the ceiling tiles (effective October 12, 2017) and later in mid-month when I was finally told they had received the tiles, I asked to see a sample & learned that, too, was a lieA warehouse had merely confirmed they had enough tile inventory but I could NOT see a sample yet because they would have to go be picked up if still desired. This company is run by a pathological liar.5. Trench Remodeling received almost $10kand if you go LINE BY LINE on his estimate to see the work performed (and "not" performed) you will "be floored" at how much money he has run off with. I want it back. Period. My suggestion at this point is for the Revdex.com to require that MrPaul T*** PROVIDE AND SHOW YOU COPIES OF ALL RECEIPTS FOR THE MATERIALS ACTUALLY USED ON THIS JOB (which I estimate to be far less than $1,000)*** and please also require that he ***PROVIDE AND SHOW YOU COPIES TO SUBSTANTIATE THE ITEMIZED "LABOR" CHARGES INCURRED FOR THE SINGLE SUBCONTRACTOR & NUMBER OF HOURSAND DAYS WORKED ON MY PROJECTThis will be the beginning of seeing the actual truth, and which one of us is telling it.Paul T*** is a robber who happens tocurrently hold a contractor's license.Sincerely,*** ***

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Good Afternoon, Mr. [redacted]:Per our earlier conversation, I am submitting a written reply to your December 8, 2017 email re-notifying me of the response the Revdex.com received from Trench Flooring & Remodeling (re: my complaint filed on 10/31/17.)As explained, I was out of town during the entire month of November 2017 and I was not awarethat the Revdex.com sent me instructions to reply within 10 days of 11/13/17.   Thus, my complaint (#[redacted]) got automatically closed and I am petitioning you that it promptly be re-opened. It is clear to me, now, that his word "means nothing" and that I must hire someone else to do the extra work desired.   My complaint deals EXCLUSIVELY with the money he accepted (just shy of TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS...) on 8/30/17 and the failure to complete the job as promised within the calendar month of September 2017.  Trench Flooring & Remodeling only sent a worker on 8 days (sometimes partial days) after starting this assignment late on 9/20/17 with numerous delays, excuses, and lies about how they would make up the lost time with multiple workers + weekends on the job.  Among other things, this company negligently failed to order materials on time, and were untruthful about it -- often attempting to blame vendors.  Trench Remodeling also missed the extended deadline (agreed upon for October 7, 2017) and Mr. Paul T[redacted] only BEGAN  scrambling to communicate with me after I issued an ultimatum regarding filing a Revdex.com and a Maryland Home Improvement complaint.  At that point, he "acted" like he cared.  Trench Remodeling has been substantially over-paid for the percentage of work completed.  My mortgage company is sending their inspector immediately following the holiday, and I will have additional written documentation validating my above statement. At the time that Paul T[redacted] abandoned the job at my home, he had already deposited a check from my mortgage company (in the amount of $11,897.50) and he understood the agreed upon initial "draw" for his company to start work was $10k (as stipulated to him prior in writing.)  The $1,897.50 overage sum that I intentionally withheld from the bank's first check was to help me with a temporary financial hardship -- and the full sum subtractedwas being replaced (in full, by me, several weeks later) accompanying the final payment at job's end.   For Mr. T[redacted] to make it sound AS IF HE GAVE ME $1,900.00 is just an outright lie ...  His company was only scheduled to receive ten thousand dollars, and he accepted $9,997.50  (after he spontaneously "rounded up" by $2.50 and provided an even $1,900.00 to me)   So, be clear, he did not GIVE ME a single penny ... this was (and still is) insurance claim money earmarked to fund my basement repairs. It is also an outright lie that Trench Remodeling "allegedly" told me that they would not do specific work which was not on the written contract (as he now misrepresents, and claims in his untruthful response.)   The clearest proof of this particular lie is that Trench Remodeling erected a partial wall and a door in my basement (per our extra 'verbal' agreement.)  This wall and door did not put itself up.  Unless Paul T[redacted] forges the contract now, you will not discover any such workmanship involving a wall and door on the paperwork for my address. On the day that Mr. Paul T[redacted] accepted the funds to begin the job, we had a lengthy conversation about twoextra things I hoped to hire him to do.   I shared with him that I hoped to take in a roommate/tenant down inmy basement, and that I desired a wall/door separating the upper house ... and needed a stove/refigeratorinstalled in the basement.  He said okay --- and discussed numerous options to accomplish 'venting' the stove and alerted me that a permit would need to be pulled to run the 220 volt cable from the fuse box.  He said thathe does it all the time, and described drilling a hole through the exterior brick of the house toward the back yard.  Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Please review my complaint in its entirety. I stated, "I removed previously discussed work from the job which made my bill 'PAID IN FULL'" I wasn't disputing if the company refunded what turned out to be an overpayment. I am submitting this complaint for the lack of professionalism demonstrated by this company. My original appointment was scheduled for May 20, 2016, at 9am. Your electrician didn’t show up until 3:00pm. I think that qualifies for being six hours late. My second appointment was scheduled for May 23, 2016, at 9am, and Everette didn’t show up until after 3:30pm – without the electrician. I have a copy of the voice message I sent to your company but this website wouldn’t allow me to attach it. I also have a copy of my phone records whereas I called Everett to talk about the issue. I think this also qualifies for being six hours late. After speaking with Everette on the 23rd, I was promised that all work would be completed upon our return from vacation after Labor Day – at 9am. Upon our return, Everette was again late and notified us of their delay. At this point, I terminated your company and asked for a refund for work that hadn’t been completed. After calming down, I realized that your company was supposed to complete work on my door and CORRECTLY align my pendant lighting – which, according to your company’s policy, all work is guaranteed. I asked for a partial refund due to the constant lack of professionalism. I find your statement rather facetious when you stated your electrician wasn’t comfortable working for me. Such an inane statement coming from a business owner, especially when a customer only wants work done correctly. I wanted your electrician to use a leveler to ensure the light were straight, he did not – consequently, my lights were not straight. The problem he had was me wanting him to stick to my written contract … everything from adding an additional light switch to ensuring my lights were straight. I have since used another contractor to correct my lights and holes left in my wall and ceiling. I most assuredly fail to see any exaggeration on my part. Again, I am not a business owner, but I would think the owner would personally call me to find out what was going on and why any customer would demand a refund from his company – especially if the owner believes there has been no wrong doing.Again, total lack of professionalism and lack of dedication to his craft.R/s,[redacted]Regards,
[redacted]

We have reached out to Mrs. [redacted] several times to come back and finish the work, but she kept refusing, because we wouldn't do the additional work that she requested that was not on the contract.   I have told her we have received the ceiling tiles for her job, but she would not let us come out and finish the job and now I'm stuck with materials that I don't need.   She has been very difficult to work with and would not cooperate with us to move forward and complete her project.   I will send a email that shows we attempted to come out and install the ceiling tiles, but she refused to work with us and that is why this job has been delayed.   So, with the materials and labor we have provided, it is more than sufficient to cover the cost of the deposit that Mrs. [redacted] has given us.   Tell us why here...
