Trevor's Photography Reviews (2)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
In the response  I received from Trevor Topel; he made many accusations and lies. Trevor never came up to me and asked me if I needed any more photos or if I was ok with him leaving. He came up to me and let me know he was leaving in which I did not have time to respond.  I did post a review of my business with Trevor on a review site on Facebook; where others where others ended up sharing. In Trevor's response on Revdex.com he did not offer any type of refund or service to fulfill his agreement. Trevor did message me on Facebook stating he would take "a lot of photos" but in person he stated it would be around 1,000. I also have all the messages between Trevor and I related to the services purchases from Trevor's Photography. Trevor told me in messages that I would receive edited pictures through Facebook along with all of the pictures taken at the party. In messages I asked Trevor about getting all of the copies after he had taken pictures he told me he charged $25.00 extra for that and I reminded him that he had already told me I could get these; he apologized and told me I was right and offered to meet me with the SD card because he did not have time and was having issues with the photos. I met Trevor at Walgreen's in Lake Mills w here I Was giving the SD card; after reviewing the pictures I messaged Trevor asking about certain photos and what happened and explained  I was unhappy. Trevor admitted to the bad services and apologized but stated there where no refunds. I would still like sometime of refund for these service's that where not of which stated. I feel that I was stolen from and betrayed by this service; this is not a professional business and should not be portrayed as one. [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]
Regards,

I am sorry for not responding within the time limit. I recently moved out of my parent's house and I have not change my mailing address yet. I received the customer concern on February 19th.
Victoria Castillo messaged me December 17th asking how much it would cost for me to...

take photos at her son's birthday party. She asked how many hours I would be able to attend and let me know how long the party would be going on for. I responded saying I would take photos for three hours and I would charge $150. She asked how she would be receiving the photos and I said through facebook messenger or a disc. I told her I would take lot of photos but I never gave an exact amount. On the day of the party, which was schedule for February 6th, I showed up at 2:30 and asked her what she would like photographed. She told me to walk around and take pictures of the decorations, her son, and her family and friends. She asked me to take a photo of her son eating cake with the family beside him. While taking these, the camera was loading so I decided to go to my iphone instead to utilize time efficiently. Before taking my phone out, I let her know that the camera was processing and it would be easier to take the photos with my phone instead of waste her time. The camera finally got up to speed and I continued taking photos with that. Around 5:00, I asked her if she needed any more photos and she told me I could leave. The next day, I received a Facebook message asking for the memory chip. I told her that would be an additional $25 fee so she said she could choose the ones she liked off the memory chip. I did not delete any of her pictures because I did not have time to go through them. She assumed that the memory chip would be free and she would receive all access to photos. I agreed and told her I would begin editing on Monday. Normally I go through and pick out the best photos but because of her rushed timeframe I sent a few samples that were edited. On Monday February 8th I met her at walgreens in Lake Mills and I gave her the memory chip and let her know I would edit any photos she would like. I never had the chance to edit any more photos because the next day she wanted a refund. I apologized that the photos were not up to her standards and that I would not do a refund because she paid for product and services and I delivered that. My photos were posted on Facebook without credit by Castillo and her mother. If they were unsatisfied with my work, they should not have posted them.
The reason I was unresponsive to her is because I was being threatened and mistreated. Not only was she mistreating me, but she also posted on many sorts of social ,media sites and pages making me look like an unprofessional business owner. This lead to other users saying horrible things about me. Thank you for taking the time to consider my side of the story even though I did not meet the deadline.
Thank you,
Trevor Topel
