[redacted] has raised a number of complaints. None of [redacted]'s complaints have any merit. [redacted] did hire us in January of 2015 to...

represent him in connection with a claim for [redacted] benefits. He claims we never notified Social Security that we were representing him. This is false. On February *, 2015, we notified Social Security of our representation by regular mail and we have a copy of these notices on file. [redacted] acknowledges that we sent him paperwork to request paperwork from his doctors promptly. This shows we were working diligently for [redacted] and were acting promptly on his behalf. However, he claims that once the doctors asked for $1,200 he did not hear back from us. First, the doctor requested an exorbitant and outrageous fee. We simply asked for the doctor to fill out a 5-page check-box and fill-in-the-blank questionnaire. So, the fee was completely unreasonable. Most doctors will fill out such forms free of charge for patients pursuing disability benefits. Some charge $5 to $75 simply to cover secretarial expenses. We have never seen a fee request of $1,200. Secondly, [redacted] was responsible for payment of any medical fees and costs. He was not in a financial position to pay $1,200. He appears upset about the cost the doctor quoted. We do not have control over the doctor's unreasonable quote. We never avoided [redacted]'s communication s. [redacted] complains that we do not answer his calls. This, too, is completely false. A legal assistant from my office had returned each and every call he made to our office in order to address his concerns. After we were terminated as [redacted]'s attorney I called him personally to discuss his concerns. During that conversation, [redacted] acknowledged that he received returned calls. His issue was that the calls were not returned personally by an attorney and that he was not accepting calls from legal assistants. We always give the utmost attention to all of our clients. Unfortunately, however, it is not reasonable for a client to expect a qualified and busy lawyer to personally return every call. And, because we were diligently working on the case, and the case was progressing rather smoothly, it was acceptable and appropriate to have a legal assistant call [redacted]. In this regard, [redacted]'s expectations were unreasonable. And, to reiterate, his claim that his calls were not being answered is simply false. His calls were answered or returned and his questions were answered. [redacted] indicated that we didn't "do anything about [his] case". This is false. We have a copy of his file on hand and it contains approximately 275-300 pages of various forms of legal and medical documentation. We were diligently collecting information for his case, as he seems to acknowledge (and which is addressed above, where he acknowledges we promptly sent him a request for his doctor to fill out). We continued to review and collect documentation in his case, and to prepare for a hearing to prove his disability, as he hired us to do. [redacted]'s "desired settlement" is that he "just want to stop this firm to represent me and denied them to collect a fee in my social security case". [redacted] had notified us in writing that he was terminating our services. While we believe he made a rash decision and that his termination of our firm was not justified, we respect his decision and have ceased working on his case. We are no longer representing him. However, the issue of whether we are entitled to a legal fee is not one to be determined by the Revdex.com. A Social Security Administration Judge will ultimately decide what our legal fee would be on this case. Based on the foregoing, we deny any customer service issues as complained of. Moreover, we object to the "public posting" of [redacted]'s complaint on the Revdex.com Website since it contains many false and misleading statements made by the complainant.

I am in response to [redacted]'s additional complaint dated June *, 2015. We adhere to our original response, which we believe sufficiently addresses [redacted]'s concerns. Sent on: [redacted] Sent by: [redacted]

Review: Hi, I would like to complaint about the bad services provided by this law firm for [redacted], I sign a paper work with then on January * -2015, and the supposed to get in contact with the social security office since them , to let them know that they going to represent me in my case, I spoke today with the social security and they never get a notification from this firm. The second thing is that they ask me for a paper work from my doctors real quick, but when I told them that the doctors fee to fill out the form for lawyers is 1200 dollars I never hear back from them. And the last one is they never answer the phone calls, so after seeing all this unprofessional services for someone who is struggling and in pain every day, I decide to complaint and leave an statement that I don't to be represented in any way, shape or form and I denied them the right to collect a fee after they don't do anything about my case. They not doing the job they supposed to do when they send you the paper work to be sign.Thank you very much to the attention to this complaint , and hoping is not going to happen to someone else, [redacted]Desired Settlement: I just want to stop this firm to represent me and denied from thenm to collect a fee in my social security case
