I was employed with Bojangles of Selma for 4 years. Back in February I had an epileptic seizure and received a concussion. I was out for 2 weeks and called in for 1 more day out because I was still experiencing symptoms from the concussion. While I was on the phone with the owner Scott Harper he told me to find another job. I said ok and hung up the phone. Now thanks to the Tri-Arc corporation and Scott Harper I am unable to get my unemployment that I rightfully worked for. Now I don't know how I'm going to pay my bills. I gave this sorry company 4 years of dedicated work and they lie and said I was on approved leave and I quit due to personal reasons. I never heard about any approved leave. And why would I quit if I was already on supposed "leave". Selma Bojangles is a huge scam. They don't care about customer service. The only thing Scott Harper cares about is putting that money in his pocket no matter what means he has to go to. He never stays to help his crew no matter how slammed and short staffed they are. He is very disrespectful and talks to everyone like they are nothing. I called Tri-Arc to make a complaint about him but I'm sure that just made them cover his butt that much more. Don't work for Bojangles in Selma if you want to be treated like a human. The owner will treat you worse than a dog should be treated.
We chose this company after speaking with them to pick up our sharps containers However, the first pick they did not show up after we paid employees overtime to stick around for the pick up Then for our pick up months later they never told us the date and just showed up and we were not ready to have them collect the containers and they still charged us for pick up AES stated- its up to customers to be ready for picks up and to just assume picks are made months from the last pick up However, if you are a physicians office that closes certain times or days of the week,if they show up you will still be charged, since they do not schedule ahead of time with you
