Cuyahoga Community College is requiring me to have all my transcripts in order to receive financial aid for the upcoming semester. This is not required by the government. This is a policy of the school. The transcript ([redacted]) in particular has a costly balance with it dating back from 2001 when I attended there. I have never heard of the balance until now 2012. I had received other financial aid awards following 2001 without needing that transcript. None of the credits regarding that transcript from oakton will transfer and will not help me in my educational goals now. I did not do well that semster at oakton. I don't have to pay for this. Besides, I don't need transcripts because I plan to enroll as a new student. I am not a transfer a student. I feel that this is a fraud by both schools and extortion.
