I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I am rejecting the response from Poole Brothers Automotive.Reasons:The business has not made any effort to solve the problems or even attempted to rectify the issues I have with them or acknowledge their faults.I have attached receipts (one of the times I took my vehicle I never even received a receipt)( and the receipts I do have are pretty much void of information the service center actually did ) and an invoice from the parts supplier The parts supplier did in fact send me a new AC compressor and honored their warranty so I could take my vehicle somewhere else and have it fixed The owner himself admits that he told me he was going to call the parts supplier but did not do so The service writer had told me that BOTH owners and himself had called that parts place and that they were not going to honor the warranty The Parts supplier was adamant that they had not spoken to anyone at Poole Brothers when I called them myself The fact that they say it functioned properly for over a year is ridiculous considering during the fall and winter months I never even turned it on and when I did in the spring it was not working properly hence the reason I took it for service This was not a faulty part According to the supplier and other service techs that I have spoken to an AC clutch fails because Aeither it was installed improperly or Banother component fails and causes the clutch to fail The parts place also sent me information on that as well It has been an enormous inconvenience to have to drop my only vehicle off numerous times and be charged for them to not even fix the problem and then to go on and still have to drive around with small children and no AC on 90+ degree days I also hope they have records and call logs of the number of calls I made to them Each one was a legitimate phone call as I explained in my original complaint Do you call the cops on all your customers who call you out and threaten to file a complaint? As far as calling anyone's personal cell phone that is a blatant lie as I do not even have his cell phone number I can assure that there is no proof or documents of that because it never happened As far as your reputation goes, if more people would actually give reviews your reputation would be tarnished because I have spoken to many local people who have had problems with your service.I am still requesting a refund of $for the service where nothing was even done and $for the first service because it wasnt done properly and has been such an inconvenience and Ive also had to spend more money getting it fixed againI am appalled at your lies, lack of integrity and the disrespect I have received as a consumer of your business.Regards, [redacted]

The customers a/c compressor with clutch assembly was replaced 5-21-2015, at a total cost of $for parts and laborI'm not sure what the customer means about "replacing the whole system"The compressor was installed properly by our business and functioned properly for over a yearthe
customer returned 6-13-with the concern that air was not coming from the vents liked it used tooThe cabin filter was clogged with dirt and debris causing a restriction in the air flowOnce the cabin filter was replaced the concern was correctedOn 6-15-the customer brought the vehicle in with the concern that the a/c was not cold at timesThe a/c was functioning properly at the time and we couldn't duplicate the customers concernWe checked all components and systems freon chargeThe system was functioning properly and couldn't duplicate the concern8-16-the customer returned stating that the a/c hadn't worked in over a month and they didn't have time to bring the van in before thatWe checked the a/c and verified the customers concernWe isolated the problem to a internal open circuit in the a/c compressor clutch coil windingThe warranty on the compressor with clutch had expired on 5-21-I, Michael Poole, did speak to the customer directly on 8-16-I clearly explain the problem and did tell the customer I would contact the part supplier.After talking to the service advisor, he told me he already spoke to the parts supplier and they said it was out of warrantyI was very understanding to the customers problem and waived the diagnostic fee for the diagnosing the problemI waived the fee, although the business still has to pay the technician for his time, because we strive to make our customers happyThe supplier never offered to send another compressor to another shop for repair, although the customer might have taken it to another shopOur service advisor did call the local police department because the customer was calling the business none stop and also calling the service advisors personal cell phoneThe compressor was installed properly and we make ever attempt to help all of of customersThe compressor clutch failed internally, not because of any installation errorWe have an outstanding reputation and want to keep all of our customers happyPoole Brothers Automotive is not responsible for a defect in parts

Any mechanic who knows anything knows that the AC compressor clutch does not fail on its own Its usually because of improper installment I obviously didn't give you the chance to reinstall it because you didn't even help me get the warranty issue resolved and lied about it and I was told to take it somewhere else by the parts supplier Its obvious you will never own up to the lack of integrity of your staff or the mistakes that were made You haven't tried to rectify the situation All you have done is deny any wrong-doing even though I have provided proof You have made accusations against me going as far as to call the police and tell them lies and make up more lies in your responses on Revdex.com Hopefully a potential customer will read this review and will see your true colors Since no refund has been offered I will proceed with the next step which is a civil law suite against this business

We stand behind our work 100% The part was defective, and the part was covered under parts warranty. The installation of the original part was not the cause of the failure so I don't understand why Mrs [redacted] feels that we are responsible for the labor cost. I realize that she has spent a lot of...
