As to Mrs ***'s complaint, she filed a complaint with PayPal alleging much of the same things, and they decided in my favor. She then filed a second claim, and then filed this claim. I didn't understand until it was too late that she had filed a second complaint with PayPal, so I guess
there is a refund pending through there but she asked for the wrong amount and apparently has now told them that but it seems everything is in limbo. As I pointed out to her, had she simply civilly asked me for a check for July, it would have been given a month ago. Instead I'm kinda bound to wait for what PayPal does because if they do debit my account, I'll have refunded her twice. As to claims of weeds and short shares, to me it is apparent that she never read the CSA share agreement that is up on my website which clearly states, exactly because of possible circumstances such as this year where a lot of the early stuff got consumed by quack grass (I'm reclaiming an old farm, also clearly mentioned multiple times), that the buyer by signing up acknowledges that there is a risk of crop failures, and is sharing the risk with me the farmer. Do I want to be so hardline with Mrs ***? No, and I haven't been. As stated before I'm willing to give her her $40 back, but with the way she went about it I'm kinda bound to wait till they do whatever they are going to do.I have documentation of most of what I've said. Also it states in multiple places on my website and brochure that the season starts out slow, and those weeds she refers are medicinals that people pay very good prices for on ***. Forgive me but she doesn't know the value of what she was given. If you need me to pull all this stuff for you let me know. But relatively briefly, that's my end of it
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I was able to get my money back through a Paypal dispute. [redacted], however, proceeded to write multiple insulting emails to me when this happened which seemed to imply that her lack of financial responsibility was my fault. We had a slow start to our season this year do to rain but the lack of produce was astounding, I never received a full 1/2 share in the 2 months I was paying. The lack of produce was always followed up with more excuses. There are other CSA's in my area and they all had complete shares with produce.
Regards,
Stephanie [redacted]
