We have pulled the customer's service history and he is correct in that he paid the $for newspapers delivered to him after his expiration date It has always been a policy at newspaper(s) to continue to deliver so the customer has no interruption in service We trust that the customer in good faith is going to pay us as the carrier continues to deliver in good faith The customer's account history shows no telephone calls or messages input into his record, so I cannot chase who he may have talked withNevertheless, we will refund the customer $and close this matterThank you

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: This is absolutely not true (referring to their statement) I have NEVER received a call or had opportunity for this discussion AND there was no update that preceded the lack of service Note that this complaint was filed over a year ago and just like I received no responses when I called them directly, this is consistent and insulting - a response months later? Why bother at that point? I have reverted to Wednesday and Sunday only delivery and still do not always receive my paper Such was the case this past Wednesday, October 25th It does me no good to call them because by the time I get home from work, no one is there to answer my call Even when I leave messages, I do not get a call back.I know you are wondering why I just don't discontinue the service So am I This response received over months after my complaint and the fact that it is are probably reason enough.The Tri-City Herald has not integrity in their response nor their actions Sincerely, [redacted] And [redacted]

The account was started in NCS on 6/21/as a digital only subscription from a Kiosk orderThe amount I see posted was $20.00, not $I do see the refund of $The difference of the refund would be $I found the email address in e-Suite as of 6/21/I tried calling the customer, but the number in NCS and on this Revdex.com complaint are the sameI get an out of service message when trying to contact the customer At this point, we are refunding the balance of $to the customer and closing this complaint.Thank you

I have re-authorized the refund request.  Due to a system gliche, the refund got hung up.  The transaction had to be deleted and so it has been re-activated.  It should process in the next week and will be mailed to him.  Since it comes from Miami and our central processing, it will take 5-7 days to get here after the check is cut.Jerry H**|Tri City Herald | Director of Finance
