Wasted 8 hours of my life by setting up 2 appts and failed to call and show upThis company is not professional at all. I set up an appointment on my birthday to finally have my closet shelf in my master bedroom installed. I spoke with [redacted] several times. She left a message stating that I ripped the shelf out of the wall. My appointment slot was 9AM to 1PM. No one showed up or called me. I contacted the company and [redacted] told me that she will get it taken care of on a Saturday because that did not show up and to avoid causing me to have to take time off from work. I set up another appointment for September 26th for the same time frame and the exact same thing happened. I contacted the company again and left a message for [redacted]. She never called me back. This is unacceptable.Desired SettlementThey need to return my call and explain what happened on these 2 days. When we spoke to builder to confirm job, sheetrock repair was not complete per builder so he told us to hold off.We thought that builder would call homeowner and back off appt. This was not done so homeowner was disappointed. Homeowner has multiple issues with builder and asked we hold off on reinstall till sheetrock repair is completed. Waiting on homeowner/builder to call to reshedule us. Homeowner has DM [redacted] contact info and waiting for call to complete job.Consumer Response This company failed to mention their involvement in this horrible experience that displays a lack of professionalism on both companies involved. No, they are not 100% to blame. They are 100% at fault for scheduling me for 2 separate appointments each with a 4 hour time frame. Until they accept their part in this mishap and hold themselves accountable for this wrong, I will not accept their response. I do appreciate the manager contacting me and apologizing and agreeing to make this wrong right but that needs to be documented in his response to the Revdex.com.Final Business Response I failed to mention our involvement in this horrible experience with the customer that displays a lack of communication with our customer and the homeowner involved.Although we are not 100% to blame because the site was not ready for us and the builder cancelled us we are at fault for not calling the customer and cancelling the for 2 separate day of /day after appointments made with a 4 hour time frame. We assumed the builder would call the customer as he called and told us not to go because the job was not ready but no call was made to the homeowner. In hindsight, we should have called the homeowner to cancel (not assume the builder called the homeowner after calling us to cancel).We accept our part in this mishap and hold ourselves accountable for this wrong. I the manager agree to make this wrong right as soon as the wall is fixed and the homeowner or builder calls us and reschedules after the wall repair is done. My apologies to the homeowner and respect the loss her time in this incident.
