Tri City Patrol Reviews (5)

We live in Los Arbolitos #HOA in Oceanside, CaliforniaWe have been home owners in this development for yearsOver the years I have never seen Tri City Patrol present in our communityWe have never felt like we had a security presence to prevent vehicle break in's, or package theft, or to deter illegal activity in the communityWe have however always felt that this company was only around to facilitate towing of vehicles who did not have parking passes
Last Friday, 9/18/15, one of our vehicles was towed from our parking lot during the dayAdmittedly, it did not have a parking pass visible in the vehicleThe issue that I have with this company and this situation is the suspicious business practices with this company and Pacific Towing, the company that towed the vehicleWe happen to have a surveillance system with high quality cameras on our homeWhen we noticed that the vehicle was missing we reviewed our surveillance footage to find that Pacific Towing towed the truck around 1pmAfter confirming it was towed we went to pick up the vehicle from Pacific Towing's lot to the tun of $Upon picking the vehicle up we noticed that there was a "Parking Violation" ticket from Tri City Patrol on the windshieldThis struck us as odd because we did not recall seeing it on the windshield when the vehicle was towed
After returning home we reviewed our footage (and would be happy to share this with anyone who would want to see this transaction) from the moment the truck was parked in our lot to the time it was towedDuring this time Tri City Patrol was NOT PRESENT AT ANY TIMEThey did stop by the vehicle to check for tags at any point during the morningNor did a member of our HOA board, or ANYONEThe only person who was remotely close to the vehicle during that time period was the gardener
At 1pm the Pacific Towing truck pulled up, the driver got out and checked the vehicle for tags, took pictures of the vehicle and then made a phone call before getting back in his truck to tow our vehicleLet me reiterate there was AT NO TIME a Tri City Patrol person present
So it was quite surprising to us to find that there was a parking violation ticket signed by a Tri City Patrol agent who was present at 1:03pm to report our vehicle to be towed
Clearly Tri City Patrol and Pacific Towing are working together to tow vehicles and profit In my opinion, this makes Tri City appear to be working hard enough to earn our HOA's money and gives Pacific Towing business
Not to mention, it is illegal according to section of the vehicle code
To top all of this off, I had called Tri City Patrol directly to talk about this situation and encountered a hostile, aggressive and rude employeeSeeing as it was 8:00pm on a Friday I realized that nobody I would want to talk to would be workingI asked the dispatcher who would not provide her name to me when a manager would be available and what there name was and she continuously repeated that she could help meI will also admit that I was not as kind to her as I should have been, but I work in a customer service based industry and I understand that when someone wants to speak to a manager (ME!) they get to speak to me
I am appalled at the lack of professionalism and respect from this company and firmly believe that it is a scam and that they are working with Pacific Towing to tow vehicles without authorizationI am sure they never suspected that we would have cameras to witness this unauthorized transaction

We moved in to the Breeze Hill Complex 2 years ago and had nothing but problems with people parking all over the place. Cars being stored and not moving. The Complex hired Tri City Patrol and within 6 months, no more parking problems, no more people in the pool after hours and no vehicle break-ins. A big THANK YOU to Tri City Patrol for a job well done.

+1

We live in Los Arbolitos #4 HOA in Oceanside, California. We have been home owners in this development for 7 years. Over the years I have never seen Tri City Patrol present in our community. We have never felt like we had a security presence to prevent vehicle break in's, or package theft, or to deter illegal activity in the community. We have however always felt that this company was only around to facilitate towing of vehicles who did not have parking passes.

Last Friday, 9/18/15, one of our vehicles was towed from our parking lot during the day. Admittedly, it did not have a parking pass visible in the vehicle. The issue that I have with this company and this situation is the suspicious business practices with this company and Pacific Towing, the company that towed the vehicle. We happen to have a surveillance system with high quality cameras on our home. When we noticed that the vehicle was missing we reviewed our surveillance footage to find that Pacific Towing towed the truck around 1pm. After confirming it was towed we went to pick up the vehicle from Pacific Towing's lot to the tun of $327. Upon picking the vehicle up we noticed that there was a "Parking Violation" ticket from Tri City Patrol on the windshield. This struck us as odd because we did not recall seeing it on the windshield when the vehicle was towed.

After returning home we reviewed our footage (and would be happy to share this with anyone who would want to see this transaction) from the moment the truck was parked in our lot to the time it was towed. During this time Tri City Patrol was NOT PRESENT AT ANY TIME. They did stop by the vehicle to check for tags at any point during the morning. Nor did a member of our HOA board, or ANYONE. Clearly Tri City Patrol and Pacific Towing are working together to tow vehicles and profit. In my opinion, this makes Tri City appear to be working hard enough to earn our HOA's money and gives Pacific Towing business.

Not to mention, it is illegal according to section 22658 of the vehicle code.

Tri City Patrol was hired by the Board of Directors and the Management Company of the property to facilitate the towing of vehicles in violation of the property parking rules. By the residents own admission he was not displaying a permit therefore his vehicle was towed. We can not be responsible for person(s) vehicles if they do not or will not follow the rules of the property. This review also stated " Over the years I have never seen Tri City Patrol present in our community". The reason they never seen our company on property is we were just currently hired to service this property. We understand the frustration from people when their vehicle is towed, however, we are paid by the Client to enforce the property rules.

Yes these guys are ss. My story is the same. My car was stolen by Pacific towing in cahoots with Tri City Patrol. My car was parked in front of a friends house at the time. I am trying to get the owners name and address of tri City Patrol so I can begin the litigation process. When I called the Police after they stole my car and held it for $357 ransom they said it was a civil matter to bring to the judge. I would not only like to sue both of these ss but would like to possibly bring a class action suit against them for all the innocent people who's vehicles were also stolen by Tri city Patrol and Pacific towing. Someone needs to expose this theft ring for what these scunbags really are, and I'm sure going to try.
