In response to customer complaint # ***: Tri-City has followed up with the installer who installed *** ***’s dishwasher after his last visit to her home He verified that the unit was installed properly and whatever adjustments that had to be made as a result of the **
technician’s visit was taken care of A check with **’s service department shows that the service issues are taken care of. In a situation when installation and service of a product are performed by third parties, Tri-City ensures comprehensive follow thru with all parties involved to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Regards, *** ***Tri-City Sales, Inc

I would like to reiterate that both the plumber and ** were eventually called back to the house based on what the original ** technician determined to be the problem. Once it was identified that there was a problem, whether it was caused by the third party installer, by the ** technician who initially made the call or for any other reason Tri-City was actively involved in resolving the issue. In any situation, whenever a machine is not performing properly or a customer believes there is an issue with their appliance be it mechanical or cosmetic, Tri-City will work with the customer and the manufacturer to ensure the product is in proper working order. Tri-City is not passing it off on anyone. Tri-City works with all of their manufacturer’s when resolving product issues regardless of why or how the problems occur. Tri-City will ensure that ** provides the necessary parts to ensure basket is fixed. Regards,*** ***Tri-City Sales, Inc

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Please add your rejection comments below;I'm confused as to the Tri-City response.  The Tri-City plumber did not install the dishwasher properly and therefore caused the top trim to break. He came back a second time to correct his installation mistake however the trim was still broken. [redacted] repaired the top trim on September 7th.  This repair took approximately 2 hours and required the entire door to be removed.  Additionally, as I told Tri-City after the plumber left the second time the top basket did not seem to be moving properly.  This problem happened after the plumber left.  ** confirmed there is a problem with the top basket and have ordered the appropriate parts and will be coming back to repair that problem.  **'s telephone number is [redacted] and I'm sure they will be happy to give an accurate report on the repair performed.  I have no idea who Tri-City is speaking with at ** and furthermore it was ** who referred me to ** for the repairs.  I stand by my original complaint.  The plumber did not do a proper installation and therefore has caused multiple problems with this machine.[redacted]

Tri-City Sales needs to carefully read my complaint and subsequent responses.  The first ** service technician stated the broken trim was caused by improper installation which was causing the door to hit the side of the cabinetry.  He refused to touch the machine and stated Tri-City needed to send back their plumber. Tri-City arranged this appointment because they stated ** needed to fix it not them.  They only sent back their plumber because I called them and told them ** said their plumber caused the problem and Tri-City needed to fix it.  The second time their plumber came he pulled out the machine to reposition it.  While he was working on the machine I heard a cracking sound which seemed to come from the upper basket area.  After their plumber left and I went to load my machine the basket was not moving properly.  I immediately called Tri-City and was told that their plumber was a professional and never did anything wrong.  [redacted] is coming on October 5 with new parts to fix the basket.  The point is this should not be going on with a new machine because their plumber does improper work.  It doesn't matter that this is under warranty - Tri-City needs to acknowled** they caused my problems and initially tried to pass it off on ** instead of taking responsibility for a bad installation.  Tri-City offers installation, makes the consumer pay for the installation and when the installation goes bad wants to deny all responsibility.  Not right!!!! I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. . I have been told repeatedly that I will be getting the money that I was entitled to as part of the rebate. You said in your response to my complaint that I’d be getting the money but you didn’t tell me the amount and you didn’t tell me when. Once I get the rebate money this complaint will be resolved. But not until then. Please provide those specific details.thank you[redacted]

Although not eligible for the full $475 rebate because of the change from the ** to a [redacted] dishwasher a check has been issued by Tri-City Sales for the entire amount of $475.

[redacted], we apologize for the inconvenience you experienced in securing monies from the manufacturers’ rebates.  Typically, the responsibility is on the consumer to submit rebates from the manufacturers once the product is delivered.  Unfortunately, [redacted] while trying to do the right...

thing experienced issues in securing the serial numbers and submitting them to the manufacturer within the programs initial deadline date.  The issue  with the ** dishwasher, which was eventually swapped out for a [redacted], prolonged the rebate process because a portion of the monies paid out from the manufacturers’ rebate was contingent on having an ** dishwasher as part of the ** Kitchen package that you purchased.[redacted], I hate to see any negative feedback regarding our company.  We are a 3rd generation family run business that takes great pride in our customer’s satisfaction and over the 50 plus years we’ve been a part of the community, we’ve established a solid reputation for excellent customer service.  It’s unfortunate we did not meet your expectations in securing your manufacturers’ rebates. The substitution of the [redacted] dishwasher for the ** brand does not qualify you for the total rebated amount requested.  However, Tri-City will send you a check for the original amount of the manufacturers’ rebate.  We are truly sorry for your experience.

[I stand by my complaint.   I told both the salesperson and service that the door was not closing properly and seemed to be hitting the side of the cabinet.  Immediately they passed it on as a ** problem not even considering sending back the installer to make the adjustment.   The ** technician NEVER TOUCHED the dishwasher and knew immediately it was an installation issue and said Tri-City knows its an installation problem.   The service department was angry they had to send out the plumber again and the plumber said the ** technician did something to the door which was not true.  After the plumber left after making the readjustment to the installation the top basket was not sliding out properly and I told them I heard a cracking noise while the plumber was working and leaning in on the dishwasher.  Tri-City informed me that their plumber is professional and does not cause problems.  Well he did because the original door problem was caused by his improper installation.  And the problem with the top basket didn't happen until after he worked on the machine.  I needed to call ** service because the dishwasher was not properly installed by their plumber TO BEGIN WITH.   If Tri-City wants to offer installation services FOR A FEE then TRI -CITY needs to accept responsibility when THEY don't do it right. ou are rejecting the business's response please enter your rejection comments here.]

In response to Ms. [redacted]’s complaint # [redacted]: Tri-City Sales initiated the first service call between the customer and ** to rectify any parts issues with the dishwasher.  The machine is within the complete manufacturer’s warranty and all service goes thru ** or an authorized ** Servicer.  When Ms. [redacted] required a second service call she informed Tri-City that she would contact ** directly to set up an appointment.  We asked Ms [redacted] to contact us after the service call with any unresolved issues.  The next time we heard from Ms. [redacted] was thru the Revdex.com complaint.  It appears that [redacted], and authorized ** servicer who we utilize on occasion to do ** Warranty work and who ** sent to handle this issue was able to complete the necessary repairs.  If there are any ongoing service issues with this machine Ms. [redacted] can contact us and we will notify ** of her concerns or she can contact ** directly to have them resolved. Sincerely,[redacted]Tri-City Sales, Inc.
