This job was not even done through our companyThe pricing & installation was done by someone who used to be an employee here who secured the installers to do itTri-City Tile was never given a penny for doing this jobFrom my understanding the first tear out was partially due to materials
being purchased through a discount company that deals in seconds & discontinued items (mind you all interaction on this job was handled with a former employee of our company & the homeowner) and from my understanding there was not enough material purchased to do the jobI myself attempted to find the same material for the customer myself & it was not available anywhereThe customer did not secure Tri-City Tile to do this job & again I will state that Tri-City Tile has not made one penny from this jobTri-City Tile never gave as much as a quote on this job & for the complainant to say any different would be a statement on their partI myself worked to find replacement granite for this person & was very cordial & provided great customer service in doing soAnything that happened on the jobsite should in no way reflect on our company since we were not paid any money for this job & did not do the jobThe agreement was entered into by the home owner & a former employee of our companyThe homeowner never dealt with the owner of our company who does all of our estimating & the homeowner did not pay any money to our companyTri-City Tile has been in business for over years & we have never had any complaints made against our company
I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Every single person that worked on the tile in my house works for Tri-City Tile. The gentleman that contracted the job is second in command for the company. And the relacement tile that they furnished was from Tri-City tile. Every aspect of this job has been them putting the blame on everyone but themselves. The first job, and the the replacement job were both done horribly.
