On the evening of Feb 9th, 2018, we received a call from the owner of the carport at *** ***. We met the owner of the carport who showed his ID and ownership of unit Ccarport. We proceeded load the vehicle onto the tow truckThe owner of the vehicle being towed, came out
screaming and banging on tow truck window. The tow truck driver was trying to strap the vehicle on the tow truck and was being pushed and shoved by owner of vehicle.The owner then tryed to back it off the bed of the truck almost driving over tow employee. Backing a vehicle from a tow bed is unlawful and has resulted in death to tow truck drivers. The police were called out and the matter was settled with a drop fee of $70. The vehicle had been illegally parked and policy was followed to remove it from an unauthorized parking area. The owner acted without consideration for safety of tow drivers

The customers car was towed from a private property lot because it was illegally parked. Our Towing Company, Tri-County Auto Recovery has written authorization to tow from different private properties. Since there is no mention of the type of vehicle or property the car was towed
from I am not absolutely certain what car he is talking about. I do remember a late phone call on a Sunday evening from someone who had a rental car towedl. There were no expletives used in my response to the customer although he was the one upset and may have used his foul language. The rental company picked up the vehicle so I don't have record of any payment from the person who is complaining. If more information is available I can research further

The customer did not have permit displayed.  We are under contract by management of property to tow vehicles without permit. The vehicle was towed.  No damages occurred to the vehicle towed.
