Yes, I did receive $2000 from [redacted] to draw plans! The first plan idea she sent me, I spent a lot of tome and drew up and sent to her. She said that's not what she wanted, that was just a plan she like! She sent me a second drawing with the comment Poor drawing, but a general idea!...

After quite a bit of work and numerous changes she wanted, I finished the plan and sent it to her. The next email from her said [redacted],We are pleased with the drawings. Lots of livingspace. Just what we were looking for.I asked her if she was ready for me to send it out for pricing, and she said yes! As I was bidding it out, the next correspondence was, [redacted],We have decided to go a different route. Pleaselet me know what our options are for getting our $2000 backI told her I spent a lot of time drawing the plans and did my job! I should be paid for my time and don't feel because you changed your mind, I should refund the money for drawing the plans!I have the complete plans and all of the emails showing all of the documenting the changes she keep asking for!

I told the [redacted], I had knee surgery and was recovering. I also told them I wanted to go myself to take care of an punch list items, when I felt better. It's a few minor items, that I had plan to do for them.

I am rejecting this response because: He drew plans that I had to draw on paper, but we never worked on a final version. Review the emails (correspondence 2).  I asked him for either a clean copy of floor plans or a refund. I feel we did not receive the services that he said he would provide for $2000. The fact is I never received a clean copy of houseplans before he submitted to "bidding".
