we did not accept this agreement , however, after *** spoke to you we did agree to a settlement of $350.00, which we have not yet receivedOnce we receive this payment we will be happy to mark this resolved. We did not receive any emails from this company regarding a settlement for several weeks after we contacted them, furthermore, it took them two weeks to mail the agreement out, I finally stopped by the office to pick it up

Hello , we are truly sorry about the delay.  this got away from use.  this job went good and every thing was good.  I will be willing to refund the tree  value to the client.  this email today was the first I saw of this , I don't know where the first email went we had...

$155.00 per tree ear marked for these cherry treesplease advise

In response to this complaint, we have tried to work with Mr. [redacted] to resolve his concern.  We were contracted to do some grading and to install top soil and grass seed.  However, between the time we did a site visit and provided a proposal and the time when we returned to start the...

job, Mr. [redacted] had installed several new trees and plantings directly in our work path.  This made his original request much more difficult, and is the reason for his water pooling problem.  This was explained to him when we started the job, and we said that we would do the best we could with the new situation.  We did make return trips to his home to try and rectify the problem, but without taking out all the plantings and completely regrading the area, the result he is looking for cannot be achieved.  As for the seeding of the lawn, we did install a watering system as part of the $350 fee he paid.  When we received the call from Mr. [redacted] that it was not working properly, we did return and correct the problem.  We did install more grass seed and left the watering system in place for an additional two weeks beyond the original time frame.  Upon removal of the watering system, Mr. [redacted] was instructed that he would need to continue to water the lawn, due to the weather conditions and the newly seeded areas.  Upon our inspection of the lawn, it does not appear that this has been done, as there were several dry patches of lawn.  A formal offer of resolution was sent to Mr. [redacted], via email, on 9/8/16.  This letter provided him with an option for us to return and do substantially more work to repair his dried out lawn areas, including two fertilizing applications, or to receive a partial refund of his contract.  When we received no response from him, a follow-up phone call was made on 9/13/16.  He said he did not get the email.  After verifying that the email address on file was correct, the email was resent, and a copy of the letter was also sent to him via US Mail.  Another follow-up phone call was placed on 9/19/16.  Mr. [redacted] said he did not get any of the emails and did not get the letter via US Mail either.  We offered to send it to a different email address, or to fax it, or mail it to another address.  He did not wish us to do any of those options, and said that he didn’t believe that we ever tried to send him anything.  At this point, we feel that we have made more than a fair attempt to contact Mr. [redacted] to try and resolve his concern.

This has been Resolved

Review: I contracted with TRi-County to construct my modular home after they insisted they could beat the competitor in price and time frame. Tri-County recieved payment and 6 weeks later set my house. Then nothing. They did not return! It has been over a month and they have not been back. [redacted] gave us a 8-10 week time frame from start to finish. We are now over 11 weeks and no work is being done. Tri-County has recieved 95% of their money!

Response:

Date: June 2, 2105 Attention: [redacted] Reference: [redacted] Complaint (ID #: [redacted]) I apologize for the delay in responding to this complaint, however today is the first that we were made aware of this complaint. With regards to [redacted]’s complaint, there are several facts that are not factual in her statement of the problems. The customer was not promised an 8 to 10 week time frame from start to finish for completing their home. The customer’s contract clearly stated that their home would be completed within 180 days of work commencing. The customer signed a contract with us to build them a new home on November 18,2014, However, we did not receive the deposit to order the home from the bank they chose to work with until February 25, 2015. The home was then promptly ordered for the next available time slot to deliver and set the home. The customer’s home was set on the foundation on April 13, 2015. Prior to this complaint being filed on May 14, 2015, the drain lines for the finished basement were run, the basement floor was poured and the electrical service was installed. Also prior to this complaint being made, our crew was there to start working on the interior finish, exterior siding and to frame out the interior walls for the basement layout. So for the customer to say that it has been, over 11 weeks and no work is being done is completely inaccurate. Once the framing was done in the basement, the basement electrical was roughed in and right now the plumbing & HVAC is being completed so that the finish crew can come back to finish the rest of the home and the basement interior. While we are sorry that this customer has issued this complaint and we are making every effort to get their home completed in a timely manner. We hope in the end, the customer will be happy with their new home and the quality that we strive to maintain. Thank you!
