Tri-County Kitchens Reviews (4)

We had our kitchen remodeled through Tri-County and had a great experience. We got beautiful, new granite counter tops and chose to save money by getting our existing cabinets (which were in excellent condition, but dated) and shelving refaced. The process went so much better than we expected and the results were exceptional. In 9 days we had a brand new kitchen. We also had a new cultured marble installed in our master bath which is just gorgeous. So many choices in cabinets (and new door fronts), hardware, counter tops and vendors to use. You will not be sorry dealing with the many experts-in-their fields that Tri-County has on staff.

We had our kitchen completely gutted and remodeled by Tri County Kitchens. They were great. They are very professional. Their work crew is very efficient. Their work is outstanding. Very reliable company. Would recommend them highly.

I would characterize my experience with tricounty kitchens as highly positive. They were easy to work with, flexible and very good at answering my many questions. The work they did was fabulous. Their installers were very conscientious, friendly and polite. I would recommend tri kitchens to any one looking to remodel their kitchen.

Review: I purchased [redacted] brand kitchen cabinets from Tri County Kitchens at the end of 2012. The order was delivered in February 2013. Each of 17 cabinets had damage and defects. For WEEKS I asked that Tri County Kitchens come to examine and confirm the situation, and they refused. I repeatedly asked that they put me in touch with the manufacturer, [redacted]t, to address the problems. After more WEEKS I was contacted by a representative from [redacted]t. Upon a visit from the [redacted] representative he confirmed the issues that had to be repaired by myself, or be completely replaced by the factory. These replacement cabinets took another 2 months to deliver.Additionally, there were items left out of the order at the initial delivery, which, once the mistake was discovered, Tri County Kitchens refused to deliver. Some of the missing pieces were brought to me by the [redacted] manufacturer's factory rep when replacing defective cabinets, and some to this date, over 6 months later, I have still not yet received.Desired Settlement: I want the missing pieces delivered to finally complete my order. I want to know exactly how Tri County Kitchens is going to compensate me for the additional MONTHS I've had to endure the aggravation, inconvenience and expense of not having a functional kitchen.

Re: Complaint ID [redacted]

To Whom It May Concern,

Pertaining to the above referenced complaint. This customer purchased kitchen cabinetry that he was installing himself that was delivered in Feb. of 2013. The cabinets were delivered in good order and well within the quality standards of the manufacturer. They are mass produced cabinets and we have over one hundred of this companies cabinets on display in our showroom, as a representation of what you will receive.

After two months time the gentleman contacted us and wanted to discuss "defects". In addition, he had no idea how to install the cabinetry that he had purchased, even though he claimed he had all the necessary skills and tools when he made his purchase.

Regardless, we made arrangements for the manufacturer's representative to travel from Nashville, TN to his personal

residence to thoroughly inspect all the cabinetry that was delivered. The factory representative felt that this gentleman left the cabinetry in storage in an area with questionable humidity. It was noted by the cabinet rep. that it appeared as if the cabinetry had been exposed to moisture (the cabinetry was delivered from our location almost immediately after we received them, which is a humidity controlled environment). Despite the fact that this customer was well beyond the amount of time (30 days) to report damages and/or delivered defects as stated, we responded and addressed this situation by sending the representative ASAP, as stated. He found there to be no apparent defects or damages beyond the normal standards for mass produced stock cabinets from this manufacturer, as a token of good will this manufacturer's representative spent a good bit of his personal time explaining to the customer how to install a kitchen and went ahead and ordered some replacement parts to appease this customer even though he found essentially nothing wrong. The only exception to this was some slightly widened miters that can only occur in high moisture conditions. He then made two more trips from Nashville, TN and spent a considerable amount of time listening to this individual bad mouth us and the company that he worked for.
