Review: I purchased a 2015 Lexus RX 450h from this dealer as a new / left-over car. As I viewed the history of the vehicle via the Lexus website and the VIN number the vehicle was in a previous accident that I was not made aware of. This is fraud and deception.Desired Settlement: I want a further discount than what I was granted.

Business

Response:

On December 29th, 2015 TriCounty Lexus sold a left over 2015 Rx 450H to [redacted] About three weeks later, on January 21, 2016, [redacted] informed us that he discovered via the Lexus website that the vehicle had a body shop repair done.Ted R[redacted] one of our managers confirmed that the vehicle did have a body shop repair completed consisting of a minor surface repair on the bumper. At that point, to rectify the situation [redacted] agreed to a $2000 settlement and signed an agreement releasing us from further claims (attached).

I am rejecting this response because:

This is deceptive salesmanship. At no point did they prove that vehicle only had a minor bumper issue rather than a major accident.

Review: At the time of purchase of my new car, I was misinformed that I must to buy some [redacted]insurance and protection plan. Otherwise I can not drive my new car out of the dealership. The next day I found out from papers that all insurances are optional. I called to the finance manager[redacted] at [redacted] and requested to cancel these insurances. He has agreed to cancel but said it could take up to 40 days. Few day later I drove to him and hi wrote on my finance agreement "Cancelling $2595" and signed. I was waiting for 40 days. It wasn't cancelled. I called then multiple times and every time I was said that I need to wait till my next statement. In February 2014 I drove to him again. At that time he provided me with 2 cancelation agreement requests and asked till my next statement. After I got my next statement in March with no changes, he said he would find out and call me back. But he didn't call me back yet.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards [redacted]Desired Settlement: The Toyota/Lexus Financial Services said that the dealership has to send a refund check for $2595 plus taxes plus interest for 72 months.

Review: Two issues. A couple of months ago I requested an autobody repair quote from Tri-county lexus. As per [redacted] he requested photos which I provided and was promised a call back with the quote. Two weeks passed and several calls from both my wife and I were made to [redacted] with no avail. I then called the corporate office to get this resolved and was advised by the corporate office that Lexus Dealerships are privately own and they can not tell Lexus dealerships how to run their business they also said that the only thing that they can do is broker a relationship and bridged a call to [redacted] (not [redacted]). [redacted] stated that [redacted] wasnt available and that he will ensure that this problem will be resolved and that a quote will be provided to me within 48 hours. No call back. I then order a part on Tuesday and was advised that it will be deliver on Thursday, I called today (Friday) and spoke with [redacted] and said that he doesnt have an order which was taking by [redacted]. over the past 6-8 months the quality of service has declined. In fact, I've just got my brakes done and oil change at sears.Desired Settlement: An apology, and offer a reasonable compensation for handling one of their customers so unprofessional and disrespectful.

Dear [redacted]After first reading your Revdex.com complaint, I assigned [redacted] to assist in resolving your issue. He told me the 2 pending issues that you were having, and I'd ask that he address them. One of your complaint was about a part that was on back order so we asked that our Parts Manager make it "priority" in our internal ordering system which hopefully will help to expedite the part. Your second issue was that no one responded to you after you requested a quote for bodywork. Unfortunetely our old Service Manager left us and never communicated anything to the current manager. In addition, one of our employees ([redacted] never communicated to anyone to call you back and for that I do apologize. That is obviously not the way we train our staff to operate. In an effort to resolve your current issue we offered the following:- Detail your vehicle free of charge.- Goodwill a panel on your steering wheel that was peeling- Complete your bodywork at dealer costAfter reading your response to [redacted] you stated that what we offered was "unreasonable", and that we should complete the bodywork free of charge. We did not damage your vehicle therefore do not feel responsible for the repair. Again we will gladly detail your vehicle and goodwill the panel, but can not fix your damage. Again I sincerely apologize for the lack of follow up and hope you reconsider our generous offer.
