Dr. [redacted] has been charging me for bogus services. While I was a patient under another doctor's care and in the infusion suite at the [redacted] he decided to talk with me. His attempt to engage me in a conversation was unwarranted, unsolicited and unnecessary. I was under the care of another physician who did not refer Dr. [redacted] to me. My insurance company will not pay for these charges and my attending physician advised me not to comply with the demand sent by Dr. [redacted] billing department to pay this fraudulent invoice. Please help me to resolve this.Desired SettlementA call to his billing department from your office would help to solve this. Dr. [redacted] is a hospitalist at [redacted] The hospitalists are responsible for coverage of the [redacted] where Mr. [redacted] was receiving treatment.In this case, Mr. [redacted] presented in the [redacted] where he was referred to the [redacted] There was confusion between Dr. [redacted] and the [redacted] physician over who was responsible for the patient in the Infusion Suite. Dr. [redacted] properly billed for the service he rendered but he was unaware of the misunderstanding between the Emergency Room and Dr. [redacted]In the interest of goodwill and moving forward, the charges for the service rendered on [redacted] 2014 by Dr. [redacted] have been adjusted. Mr. [redacted] is no longer responsible for the balance.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
