Review: We recently used TriCounty Office Furniture for our recent move from NY to MD. Over the court of the move, they broke our TV, several of our fragile items, ruined our silverware, and improperly reassembled the furniture that they took apart for the move. They then promised us that they'd send us something to fix the silverware the next day, but never sent us anything. We tried to contact them about the broken items and messed up furniture, but they completely stopped answering our calls or texts and never called us back. It's now been 4 weeks since the move and we haven't heard a peep back from them. This is all despite the fact that we had provided them with a tip that was double the amount that they told us was on the higher end of what they normally received. Unfortunately, we had paid before discovering these problems (because we needed to unpack many, many boxes before we even got to the ruined items) so we could not withhold payment. And at this point, we can't get a hold of them to demand part of our payment back. They basically stole our money and are no longer answering our calls.Desired Settlement: We expect them to repay us for the ruined silverware, extra TV pieces that we needed to purchase, broken fragile items, and time and pieces that were necessary to reassemble the furniture that they improperly assembled. All told, we estimate that they owe us about $200.
