Tri-Lakes Cleaning Service Reviews (3)

Thank you for making me aware of the complaint. I would like to provide the following information in rebuttal of ***’s service issues and requested resolution. On December 19 I was contacted by [redacted] regarding the subject property. She was referred to me by my sister. [redacted] was putting the home up... for sale and requested a cleanout. The property had been occupied by her daughter, her daughter’s boyfriend, and there were two large dogs and cats staying in the property for a few years to my knowledge. It is also important to note that the daughter still had personal property in the home that was not removed in a timely fashion for the cleaning and repair work that needed to be done as well as showings for the realtors.I agreed to visit the property and assess what needed to be done in making the home presentable for sale. Upon visiting the home on December 20 the condition was appalling to say the least. Upon entry the smell of urine was overwhelming. There was dog hair everywhere and numerous holes in the drywall, some quite large. There was evidence of where dogs had been urinating on the walls and door jams as well as underneath the refrigerator as evidenced by the picture provided below. There was mold inside all kitchen cabinets.I contacted [redacted] regarding the condition of the home and her response was one of disbelief. I informed [redacted] that there was more than just “cleaning” to put the home in a salable order. [redacted] informed me that she had wanted to get the home sold for as much she could but said that she did not have the monies to cover the cost of the cleaning and repair recommendations I provided her. My recommendations included repairing the holes in the drywall, bleaching the molded areas, painting the interior, and trimming out the walls with wood floors. [redacted] was very open about not being able to afford my recommendations. As she was a friend of my sister and appeared to be very much in need I did agree to provide some services at a much reduced cost. During this time we were working in home I maintained communication with [redacted] as I do with all of my customers and she was kept abreast of our progress. It is very disappointing that [redacted] feels that a complaint or refund was warranted as the work that we were able to do at the reduced cost enabled her to sell the home for more than what she had been offered prior to our services being rendered. At the time of the sale, we were still addressing the recommendations that I had provided ***. She was not charged for the work that we were not able to complete prior to her selling the home.It should be noted that at no time were we notified in a timely fashion of the showings which did not enable us to get to the property to put it in order. As the pictures can attest there was a great deal of work that was done. The following is the time and costs that I incurred and what was charged to ***.Cost Incurred: 34 hours labor $680 paint, paint job $500 drywall repair Total: $1180***’s cost: cleaning $300 paint, paint job $390 drywall repairTotal: $680We worked in a professional manner and devoted numerous hours to provide for a salable home. It is my sincere belief that no other cleaning company would have even taken the job because of the stated inability to afford what was needed to address the state of disrepair and dog/cat urine as well as the timeframe in which the work was expected to be performed. We made every effort to keep costs down and [redacted] was not charged for all costs incurred and as such [redacted] is not entitled to a refund. The issues that [redacted] brings up with regards to specifically a dirty sink and her daughters personal items were issues that were not entirely in our control. It is very fortunate that [redacted] did receive a higher bid and sold the home before we were able to complete the work that I had recommended. The attached pictures should put into perspective what we did for [redacted] and that we provided services above and beyond what was charged. Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions or concerns. My business and professional reputation is something that I hold very highly. It is unfortunate that in lending a helping hand, and to doing things to be a good neighbor and to help others, that [redacted] feels that I did her a disservice.Sincerely, [redacted] Tri-Lakes Cleaning [email protected]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  The business did not offer any rebuttal to my complaints, only adding complaints of their own. They also made false assumptions as to details of a closed transaction. There are several false statements in the reply. I have contacted a law office and will proceed from here.
Regards,
[redacted]
