Damage to the walls after installing hardwood floors. The company patched the walls and they are not the same color/tone. Now they are refusing.We had our floor installed at our brand new construction home. The project was mainly for the second floor and our family did not occupy the second floor so no damage was done from us. A week after they finished installing the hardwood floors, they came in to 'patch' the wall with the same paint. From experience, I was very worried about getting patches on the wall. The owner told me let's try the patch method and see, and that if it is noticeable, they will come and fix it then. Now after 3 days of getting the patch service, the paint patches are noticeable and called back to hear what their actions will be. The owner responded by "I will come fix it myself if you help as well" Of course I did not accept as I don't want to be fixing up whatever they messed up on. Very not happy with this at all.Desired SettlementThe desired resolution would be to have a painter over to fix the noticeable patches.Business Response Sorry we were not able to meet your expectations on the paint touch up. We returned to do paint touch up using the paint that the homeowner provided. A second trip was offered but it was not an acceptable solution. We have been called names, disrespected and taken advantage of. For this reason we have decided to sever all communication with the homeowner. It was written before starting the job that minor touch up would be the homeowners responsibility. Our main focus is to provide top quality products and installation work which indeed we did, however this was not mentioned in the complaint. Consumer Response Second trip was offered but required my own labor for fixing something they have messed up. I already had a concern for the patches of paint from the beginning and was told that they will fix it and give some time for it to dry. After it has dried, now they are completely blaming us for taking advantage of them. I have never called them names, I was the one to be called "immature, act like an adult" They also threatened me to remove reviews to call their lawyers. All I wanted was to have their words come into action. If they had not said anything about paint or any matter and said no from the beginning, I would have been fine. They made promises that are not kept and blamed on customers. I have the texts from the owner himself to provide the proof of this case.Final Business Response Mr. [redacted] has already resorted to placing several negative reviews online. As a result we are no longer pursing his satisfaction and will NOT provide any further assistance with his concerns about paint touch up. The floors were installed as promised. We love our newly refinished floors. tripoint did a super job and was very prompt at responding to us when we first called and kept us informed when the floors would be ready to move back into. We could not be more pleased. We did not have any idea that these floors could be restored to such a nearly new appearance. Thank you. [redacted] and [redacted]

[redacted] and his team did a great job installing our hardwood floors. They worked very fast but efficient. He beat out all the competition with his prices. Call [redacted] you will not be disappointed!

I am giving Tri-Point Flooring a top rating because from beginning to end I experienced a very courteous and professional company. They offered me several different options for hardwoods and allowed me some time to decide which scenario would best fit our budget and lifestyle. They workmanship was excellent and they cleaned up after themselves which was nice. Whenever you have work done in your home you must expect some degree of dust and residue but they went above and beyond to make sure they left the place as they found it. I would certainly recommend [redacted] and his crew to my friends and family ( I have already done so).
