Complaint: I am rejecting this response because I have not received the customer service to which I am entitledI have rights as a paying customer, and for the attorneys to tell you your case is settled and that you will be getting a check in weeks but not communicate that there has been a change is irresponsible to say the leastIf I didn't call them for updates I wouldn't know of anyAnd, when I call I get a different answer according to which attorney I am speaking with! Mr [redacted] has a Workers’ Compensation case with our firm We settled his case and he signed a settlement contract on December 4, The contract was immediately sent to the insurance adjuster for the claimThe insurance adjuster wanted additions to the language of the contract, and final contracts were not signed by the adjuster until January 26, The contracts were submitted for approval by the Workers’ Compensation Commission and are pending approvalMultiple phone conversations were held with Mr [redacted] during this time He also met with with attorney Patrick [redacted] in our office on February 15th, the issues with the insurance company signing the contract and the approval by the Workers’ Compensation Commission were explained to him in detail at that timeWe have spoken with Mr [redacted] every week during this processOur records show that additional phone conversations were held also on 2/17, 3/3, and 3/We are taking this matter very seriously and are taking every step to keep Mr [redacted] informed and to expedite approval

We settled his claim and the settlement contracts were rejected by the judgeWe had to change some language in order to get them approvedThis has already been done and the contracts have been resubmitted for approval, and should be approved with daysMr*** has already been informed of
thisWe will have this fixed in days

This issue has been resolvedMr*** signed the Distribution on 9/16/and his check was *** to him on the same day

We have apologized for the time its taking and his settlement contracts have been submitted for approvalWe will follow up very closely to insure this matter gets resolved as quickly as possible

Ms. [redacted] hired our law firm in December of 2015. We had successfully settled her case in July of 2016. We have advised the client on numerous occasions we are in the process of finalizing contract language. We have told the numerous times we are working on it and it is a process that takes time. Ms...

[redacted] has not been happy with that response in that she wants it done immediately. We will continue discussing with the insurance company the settlement contracts and asking them to expedite them. Unfortunately these things take some time. I can understand Ms. [redacted]s frustration and I have spoken to her on numerous occasions that it takes time. Our firm does not get paid until we resolve it so we want it done as well for her. Also our staff has told her updates as well they are trained to update all clients when a case has been settled. We will get it done shortly we are at the final stretch. I will call her again and explain the process. I want her to be happy.

I have spoken to Mr. [redacted] this week he is happy. Our firm was working on liens he had on his case to resolve them that was the delay. There was a misunderstanding. He received his settlement funds last week and he is happy. I apologize it took 1 week longer to resolve his legal issues. It all...

Multiple phone conversations were held with Mr. [redacted] during this time.  He also met with with attorney Patrick [redacted] in our office on February 15th, the issues with the insurance company signing the contract and the approval by the Workers’ Compensation Commission were explained to him in detail at that time. I am rejecting this response because I have not received the customer service to which I am entitled. I have rights as a paying customer, and for the attorneys to tell you your case is settled and that you will be getting a check in 6 weeks but not communicate that there has been a change is irresponsible to say the least. If I didn't call them for updates I wouldn't know of any. And, when I call I get a different answer according to which attorney I am speaking with! It's as though they don't know what is going on!!!

On October 11, 2016, the Settlement contracts were approved and the check was requested the same day. Mr. [redacted] should have his settlement proceeds within30 days.
