After reviewing the additional response from the complainant, I do not see that this issue will be resolved for the following reasons; the complainant is telling lies and misrepresenting the forms we use and our policies AND seems to have deliberately set up a situation that he could then try to receive our services for free while trying to defame our business and personal integrityThe customer never signed the form HE sent with his unit but we went ahead IN GOOD FAITH AND WITH HIS FORE KNOWLEDGE AND PERMISSION to try to set up his units the way HE HAD REQUESTED and now he is stating he never authorized the work and never disassembled it and shouldn't have to pay for itWe even offered a solution (that he could send the units back to us for testing and then we would gladly offer a refund if they were not working) which the customer rejected and then became belligerent on the phoneTHIS CUSTOMER SHOULD NOT BE DONE BUSINESS WITHIt's too bad that businesses don't have a "Bad Customer" Bureau that we could report this customer toIn YEARS of business we have NEVER received any complaints that we could not resolve with the customer directly and reasonablyWe conduct our business with HONESTY and INTEGRITY and are proud of the service we give our customers and WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO without letting this person take away our trust in the goodness of most peopleI am sorry that this could not be resolved maturely and in a reasonable mannerHave a good day Sir

Hello, Thank you in advance for allowing us to respondWe have not recieved a complaint before in over years of doing business so have been unsure how to respondAttachment #is the document we received from the customer, *** Kieu, along with his sending unitsAs is stated on the document,
the customer wanted his units to be calibrated from ohms full to and ohms emptyWhen we tested the units to be repaired, we found their ohms readings to be set up much higher than requestedWe called the customer with this information and informed him we would be unable to calibrate them so low*** told us to clean up the rheostats and repair them so the float arms would swing freely and accurately through its rangeHe stated to us that he was planning on installing resistors into the wiring to make it workWe told him that in our experience that would not workHe stated that it would and that is what he wanted us to doSo we repaired his units as requested and sent them back with the statement, which you can view in Attachment #It obviously states that there would be no warrantee on either of these unitsThe customer knew this ahead of time due to being informed in our phone conversations with himAfter receiving the units back *** called and informed us they weren't working to his ohms specificationsHe videotaped himself testing the connections and posted it on ***We watched the video and called him to try to work it outHe informed us during this conversation that he had taken the rheostats off the units and had disassembled them to test them, in essence, destroying the repair we had already doneHe demanded his money backKnowing he had disassembled and undone all our work, we STILL offered to give him a refund if he would send the units back to us so we could test themIf we found that their malfunction was due to the work we did, we offered a full refund PLUS reimbursement for shipping costs*** refused and demanded his money back, sight unseenIn fact, he refused all our offers to resolve the situationThe phone conversation degraded from that point on and when *** started getting angry and aggressive on the phone, we decided to terminate the conversation rather than allow it to devolve into a full blown argument and hoped we could work with him the next day when he had calmed down and perhaps had a chance to think about itInstead, we received notification from you that a complaint had been madeThis is our side of the disagreementHopefully we can resolve thisThank you for attention in this matter- Daniel * ***, owner Tri-Starr LLC

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Hello and I appreciate you taking the time to review my complaintAt this point, I understand that the likelihood of receiving a refund are probably lowI persist only so that it may help others in the future to avoid this loss in time and moneyFirst, I would like to point out that I never received any of the documents attached in Dan's responseYou can see that my signature is not even on the first document he sent overI have attached the actual documents that I recieved for you to review when you can find the timeIn the state of work I wrote that one unit should read a sweep from ohms full to ohms empty, and the other unit ohms full to ohms empty. Secondly the receipt sent to me had none of the hand written marks aside from the "7/pd visa"I believe that Tri-Star falsely added all of those after receiving this complaint to defend their caseThey also decided to add the "No Warranty"On top of that they left out the final document which includes the incorrect calibrations written in their own handwritingI will also link to the *** video Dan is referencing in his response belowIn the video you can see that I did not take apart or modify the units in anywayThat is how they were sent back to me out of the box from Tri-starr, and upon testing they were not calibrated to his state of work either.***Regards,*** ***
