Review: We had a particularly bad experience with this company and in particular one of the workers named [redacted] and his number is [redacted] (He may be the owner which is terrifying). He did work on our deck and the job was 'finished' three weeks late (promised July 3rd, finished end of July) and we couldn't find him nor would he return our phone calls or texts for the middle two weeks. We definitely had to chase him down just to do the work we paid for. He finally came back and proceeded to do a horrendous job. He was supposed to replace some wood and paint the deck. The wood he cut did not match up, he eventually asked our general contractor to do it, and to paint the deck he basically painted our yard and trees with white paint because he used a sprayer. He gave us his word that if we were not happy he would come back to fix anything but would like final payment (we got three to four phone calls that day from him). We could not inspect the deck bc it was wet and his word was given that he would return if we didn't like what we saw when we got on the deck. When we finally got on the deck it was terribly done and he forgot some pieces that were to be replaced. He also decided to compensate us for the delay and knock down the price a hundred dollars and paint some concrete. Well he painted the concrete poorly and parts of our door frame by accident, and we accidentally paid him the original price. When we asked him to come back and truly finish the job and give us our extra payment back in good faith, he has never returned our calls nor text messages now that he has our money. He also promised to return to remove the paint from the trees and one of our hammocks that he painted, this was not done. Essentially we are out an additional one hundred dollars from what the price of the job was, the deck is not finished and now he will not return texts, calls or calls to his business office which is run by himself and his wife.

Looking through his Yelp page and his Revdex.com.com pages (I wish I had done this before) this is chronic behavior for this man and his business. There needs to be some penalty or retribution or more people will be subject to this. It's a colossal waste of time dealing with himDesired Settlement: I would like my 100 dollars back and for him to complete the work that he promised.

Review: My wife had a found an ad on [redacted] for a company, Tri-State Air Duct Cleaning and Pressure Washing, to do the pressure washing on our house. Two of our neighbors had purchased the deal through [redacted]. I called and left several messages to see if we could get scheduled for the same day as our neighbors before I purchased the deal. Finally, the wife called me to set up our cleaning. She informed me that her husband would come out and clean the siding, soffitt and gutters. Also, she stated that to avoid a $25 out of area fee, she requested that we not go through [redacted]. I talked to the husband before he started on the first neighbor's home to go over everything. he informed me that it should take him 1 hr 15 mins to complete each house. At this time, he said I should pay $57 for the wax to ensure the work for 6 years. I accepted this service but rejecting his help on my deck for $67. I returned to my home from an errand was surprised to see that he was already down with both homes and ready for the third. My wife told me he was done in 30 minutes. He said it took him 40 minutes. I was unsure as to the reason in the time differential until I inspected his work. As I walked the perimeter of my home, I realized that He did a very quick wash and my house still had dirt on the siding, seams, soffitt and garage door. I wiped some dirt off with a wet finger but he insured me that my siding was stained. My house was newly built 8 years ago and it was dirt. He told me he couldn't spray the garage door because it would chip the paint and he couldn't spray the soffit or gutters because I would water in my attic. I know some stains are tough but on a two-story home, you need to get on a ladder to accomplish some of the work. He never used a ladder and to top it off, my grass was as dry as can be. I have had purchased pressure washing services in the past and there is usually a lot of puddles and water build up throughout the yard. I told him that he would need to finish the job and started yelling at me "dude, you can see that I sprayed the house". I told him that it needed to be completely to what I was promised and I would gladly pay $156. He said he wouldn't do it and that he should have never driven to our area. He jumped in his truck and said he would send me a bill. I advised him that we oiled meet in small claims court or he could complete the work. He drove off and went to the third neighbor's house but left without spraying his home.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the services for which I paid!

Review: In May we purchased a service for Pressure Washing of our home. We were scheduled to have them arrive on 6/12/13. We were contacted hours after they were to arrive that they were not coming due to rain. We have been rescheduled several more times and only informed after we called multiple times to see why our house was not done. We stayed home from work and no one showed again or answered the phone. They informed us that it was because of rain and that they have not completed a single job. This was an interesting statement considering the last time they did not show up was because he was "finishing up another job and running late" We have left over five messages and our calls are not returned. We want our money back but cannot talk to anyone in order to do so. The man that we spoke to was very rude, whenever you call the office, you do not speak to anything but a machine. There has been no effort by this company to schedule our service whatsoever.Desired Settlement: We want our money back so that we can hire a competent company

Response:

[redacted] was rescheduled several times due to weather rescheduling. We can not

control the weather. We were playing phone tag with rescheduling. The service

truck showed up to her address on 8/5/2013 and at that time was told that she

cancelled the service and not to do the job. This was a deal voucher purchased

through [redacted]. She called me after the service truck left and told me

she wanted a her money back. I informed her of the process she had to follow

with [redacted] to request a refund. That was the last communication that I

had with [redacted]. We do try to please everyone but do realize that sometimes

that is not possible. We have a great working relationship with [redacted]

and our positive feedback is excellent.

Review: We have had a TERRIBLE experience with TRI-STATE Pressure Washing / Air Duct Cleaning. The owner of this company is [redacted] (a.k.a "[redacted]") and I understand that he is frequently soliciting jobs in developments in Elkton, Middletown, Bear and even up to PA. We used him to power wash our house and stain our deck. He promised the most outstanding deck staining and it is complete garbage! We made it very clear to him that we were willing to pay whatever it cost to have the deck done properly including the stripping, sanding, good materials and proper technique. He initially told us he would be back to do the deck that week but it really took three weeks for him to get around to doing the job. We came home to find a very sloppy and quickly done job that clearly cut every corner possible. We believe he significantly mis-lead us regarding the quality of products and technique used. There is over spray on our house and sliding door that he already power washed that will not come off. The stain is globed on and dripping; he did not strip or sand down any stain or splintering areas after the power wash. I know that the job was complete in less than 2.5 hours because I stopped home at 11:30AM to check on the progress and he had not arrived yet. When I came home again at 3PM, it was already done and practically dry. We were willing to pay the money to have someone do this for us but moving forward my husband will likely spend the time it takes to do the job correctly and avoid this debacle. Also, this company has extremely poor customer service. Our emails and phone calls were not returned promptly; he is now ignoring us completely since we have expressed concerns over the quality of the work. I was spoken to as if he were trying to calm a pissed off girlfriend; he called me "hun" and "sweetie". Finally, we paid in advance for a third service (foundation painting) to be done and then changed our mind because we were concerned as to whether it might require HOA approval. This was no cost to him as he initially sold us this additional service because he had some paint left over from a prior job that he was trying to get rid of. We asked for and were promised a $300 for foundation painting that we opted not to have done. HE had promised that "Jen" would be dropping this off the day the deck was painted but I have yet to see it.Desired Settlement: We want the full refund of $300 for the foundation painting that we opted not to have done as well as to be reimbursed for a portion of the power wash since there is now over spray and stain drippings on the back of our house. Finally, we want about 50% of the cost of the deck staining reimbursed due to very poor / sloppy craftsmanship. The cost for the power wash and deck staining combined was $1500; the total amount paid to Sam by check was $1800.
