To Whom It May Concern,RE: *** C*** Complaint# ***I am writing in response to the above complaint***’s work was originally scheduled for April 26-27, in which he contracted Tri-State Basement Repair to dig down feet to expose exterior stone foundation, attach Spider
Lathe and apply exterior Shot Crete to stone foundation wallFinished surface was a “popcorn” finishDue to inclement weather on April 26th we rescheduled ***’s work until May 8-9, On May 8th we did his prep work to complete the job on May 9th in which his Shot Crete was appliedIn order for Shot Crete to adhere, the weather must be dry for a minimum of hours*** contacted our office the following day indicating that some of the Shot Crete had fallen off and cracked, as we had rain the night beforeWe rescheduled to return to his home on May 17th to repair the cracked Shot CreteAgain, due to the inclement weather and recent rains, we had to reschedule his work for Thursday, May 25th, which was done prior to this complaint being filedI have attached documentation in which *** signed stating that due to weather issues, work may need to be rescheduledI apologize that *** is unhappy with the work that was contracted and that he didn’t get his plants moved before we did the workWe are always sorry to inform customers that due to the weather we are not always able to perform certain jobsWe try to keep every appointment, but we do make it known verbally and on multiple sign offs that our work does depend on weatherThis was why the Shot Crete failed in the first placeWe very much want to resolve ***’s issues, as this is not how Tri-State Basement Repair conducts businessUntil the issues are fixed, we gave *** the final payment back of $even though his wife signed off saying the work was satisfactory and it was OK to make the final paymentUnfortunately, we cannot refund all of ***’s money back for work that was completed and signed off onWe are always willing to fix our work, but we need a dry enough stretch to do soWe look forward to resolving ***’s issues and repair the job that was contractedIf you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact my office at ###-###-####Best Regards,*** *** Office ManagerTri -State Basement Repair and Waterproofing LLC
