Tri State Building Materials

Review: To Whom It May Concern:I am filing a complaint against Tri-State Building Materials (hereinafter "Tri-State"). I will explain how they took my money for products I ordered from them (window screens) and how they have purposely avoided their end of the business transaction. In April 2013, I spoke with [redacted] at Tri-State about ordering window screens for my home. In late April/early May, an employee from her company came to my house and measured the windows to make the customized window screens. I then ordered window screens from Tri-State.On May 21, 2013, my [redacted] credit card was charged for $400. On May 21, 2013, my [redacted] credit card was charted for $402.50.On May 30, 2013, maintenance staff came to my house to install the delivered window screens. They were unable to install four window screens because the size was wrong.On May 30, 2013, I spoke with [redacted] at Tri-State and told her that her company improperly measured four windows, and thus I would need replacements.On June 12, 2013, only two window screens were delivered. One window screen was in working condition, but the second window screen was broken and thus inoperable. It was missing tabs that lock the window screen into place. For obvious reasons, this is a safety concern because the window screen could fall on someone below. On June 13, 2013, I spoke with [redacted] at Tri-State and explained the problem. She said that someone would come within a week to fix the screen. No one came.On July 1, 2013, I spoke with [redacted] at Tri-State and asked for a status update. She said no one would be in the area until July 12. On August 1, 2013, I spoke with [redacted] at Tri-State and she said someone would fix the window within a week. No one came.On August 12, 2013, I spoke with [redacted] at Tri-State and told her I would contact the Revdex.com on August 19 if the window screens were not fixed within the week (by August 16). She said she would call me that afternoon, I presume to make an appointment. She did not contact me.Desired Settlement: I would like the three window screens to be replaced because they are currently inoperable.They charged my credit card almost three months ago and have still failed to deliver all the paid merchandise.
