First off I want to thank you for being a loyal subscriber to the *** Journal Sentinel for the past 25+ years and sincerely apologize for the billing issue and subsequent customer service issues
that you have encountered. As I stated on the phone it appears that issue is related to a technical glitch that occurred during a recent system conversion. I have worked with the various support teams at the organization and we have restarted your account effective 9/29/17. In addition we are providing you with a credit that will extend your subscription from the original expiration date of 12/6/to a revised expiration date of 1/31/18. The credit will compensate you for the days of missed service and provide an additional days of service in an effort to apologize for the inconvenience that we have caused

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this response/resolution is satisfactory to me. While this is a fix for me, I do believe this is a problem for other subscribers, since it was a billing system conversion issue. The Revdex.com may want to ask how Gannett is handling notifying their customers of this issue.Thank you so much for your help! I was getting no where with their customer service representatives and their billing department until the Revdex.com, became involved
