WORST experience with a contractor EVER!!!! One star is too much but cant post without at least choosing onePlease Google *** ***, *** *** and Revdex.com on this company and MIKE before you make a BIG mistake!!! Mike doesn't even work under his own contractor license (does he even have one?!?!) Botched my kitchen and Bathroom (ripped it out and never ordered the cabinets and left it undone!), insisted on the final payment before he finished and walked out in the middle of the jobLeft TONS on mistakes (ei: microwave so low that a pot cant fit under it on the stove, ordered cabinets too large that he insisted I order the smallest fridge made to fit it, botched electrical work - circuit cuts off if I have micro on when I plug in my electric tea pot, AND SOOO MUCH MORE!!!!Luckily, found a contractor that was willing to correct the botch job he did but am left with a horrible experienceMike L is rude, arrogant, totally unprofessionalHad to close his business on New DorpHad laws suits against him and more!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!

Review: Company installed a new roof for me in April of 2011 including all new plywood and shingles , charging me $6800. Now sections of the plywood are popping up in multiple spots. This was found because I am trying to have solar power installed and they couldn't due to the roof's condition. I have tried to contact the company at every phone number and every address I could find but they seem to have ceased to exist.

I contacted NYC consumer affairs and they tell me that the license issued to Michael L[redacted] for this business was revoked ! And at the [redacted] location I was told that he was evicted. I can not say for certain that any of this is true but I do know that I cannot locate this business.

Now I have had to hire another company to do the necessary repairs and it is going to cost me another $2400 .Desired Settlement: For Mr.L[redacted] or someone representing him to contact me and explain why I should have to pay someone else to correct his company's poor quality workmanship.

Review: Tristate was contracted by me to perform a hurricane sandy home rebuilt. They came in at a fair price and seemed as a well suited and professional company. Two weeks after job commenced we received an extra proposal for additional work which at the time was understanding due to severity of damage to the house. At that time they were paid up to 50% of main contract. I began having a delay between insurance company and mortgage company. At that time Tristate chose to stop work for a month even though they have received sufficient funds to continue. Once all was taken cared of with insurance and mortgage I gave Tristate another payment which included funds for main contract and additional contracted work. after payments were made Tristate would work for a couple of days in a week and we were not getting much progress on job outcome. After a walk through with Tristate and last payment was made, I was under the impression we were in good standing being that job has been paid aprox 95%, and thought job would go full throttle. Two days later I receive an email with additional extras, which most of the items on extras were part of original contract and the rest were just bogus. We attempted several times to meet and go over new additional work but never had a chance to do so. At that time job began to drag once again with Tristate working a couple of days a week some days were just half days and most of the time a no show. I reached out to Tristate via text to see if and when they were coming back to do work, and received a reply that they were not doing any work until extra work was paid in full. when Previous work is no were near completion which has been paid in full already. Scope of work of contract should have been matched with insurance adjuster, due to adjuster gave a detail description to Tristate on what was covered and what needed to be done. every job Tristate commenced has never be completed or came no where near completion. all Tristate has put into job was labor and barely any materials. my home is nowhere near completed, I have no power in my first floor, no kitchen, no bathroom, no toilet, no floors no doors, no outlets nothing! mold and mildew has not been treated even though they have put up about 85% of sheet rock, the front window that Tristate installed under additional contracted work was not sealed, nor protected from weather outside there is no sidings, the sidings that was suppose to be reinstalled was damaged from the length of time sitting outside waiting for Tristate to reinstall them, the rear of my house has a new door with no stairs to go down, next to that is a window they installed that is not completed the window has been thrown in with a piece of ply wood that is not placed right which causes dangerous conditions everything that Tristate has started was never completed Tristate has been paid up to date for the contracted work which was not completed. Tristate says they have invested too much into job when on the contrary we’ve invested all and have nothing. Hardly any money that has been given to Tristate has been put into job. Every time we thought all was squared away things would just get worst.Desired Settlement: Tristate to complete what they have started as per contract and agreed on several times.

Response:

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Tri-State Kitchen & Bath regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Review: I am complaining on behalf of my parents.

They are 69 and 78 years old respectively. They have contracted with Tri State Kitchens to do roof repair and replacement work from damages caused by Superstorm Sandy. This contractor has caused me due concern because of his aggressive, unprofessional and bully like manner in speaking with my parents.

The work was originally due to begin in August of 2013, but did not commence until November 2013. One month after starting, the work remains incomplete. My parents have had to deal with non responses to their phone calls, myriad excuses ranging from concurrent projects to inclement weather and no staff available to work on their home. Yesterday **December, my 14 year old son witnessed [redacted] being verbally confrontational and aggressive toward my parents.

He has not stated when he will come, how many more days the job will take nor his expectation of completion date.

What concerns me most is the manner in which he chooses to speak to my parents.

His actions and behaviour have caused a great deal of stress to each of them.Desired Settlement: He should put a priority team to on hand to complete this work.

I would like him to refund half the balance of his fees given his lack of project planning and clear communication regarding deadline.

(He has not finished his job, yet has pushed for more up front payments to cover "expenses and materials")

I also hope that he can have some training in client relationships and respectful interactions, especially with seniors.

Thank you.
