Homeowner has family visiting & does not want us to service until the week of 7/We will be serving the work during that week

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me as long as they keep the scheduled repair date as stated.

Review: I hired Tri State Remodelers to remove my old porch and rails and build a new one and install new railing. I was unaware that all work that is done is contracted out by a third party. The work was actually performed by [redacted] company. They completed the job on the porch on October 30. The next day, I called Brian [redacted] ( who is the head guy at Tri State Remodelers) who I hired to do the job and informed him of a few minor issues I had with the porch and sent him pictures to confirm what I was talking about. (There was a hole the size of a rock in the concrete of one of the steps) and there was black material that needed to be trimmed which you could see that was hanging from the last step. He immediately contacted Angelo (who is the contact guy for [redacted]) and I was informed that they would come take care of it in a few days. The rails were finally installed on December 29th, 2 months after they porch had been completed . I only had to call about 4 times to ask what was the hold up with the railing. I was constantly told that they were being ordered and hadn't arrive yet!! On February 18th, I called Brian and notified him that my newly built porch was starting to deteriorate after only 3 1/2 months!! Again, I sent pictures to confirm. I was immediately told that I must have used salt on my porch and not ice melt , I informed him that I did not use salt, I sent him a picture of the Prestone Ice Melt bag which was in my garage which I was using. I had used this product on my old porch and never had a problem. He called Angelo to come and look at the porch. He tried to blame me for not using SAND on my porch instead of ice melt. Angelo agreed that he would see what he could do about it. Bryan then informed me that if I had not heard back from Angelo in 2 weeks to give him a call. Of course I had to call him because Angelo never showed up. I am still awaiting repairs to my newly built porch that is only 9 months old and looks like CRAP!

Review: My bay window was leaking & my deck required new planks. I hired Tristate Remodelers, the contractor [redacted] came to my house &diagnosed the problem with the window. He never once advised me that its possible the leak is coming from my roof or siding. Once the job was complete, there were a few minor things on the deck that I wanted fixed,only one of issues were fixed. I made phone calls to the office about it & to have [redacted] call me never heard from him. However,after a couple of rain storms my window commenced to leak, but worse. I was upset & irate. I called the office and told them if [redacted] does not call me I am reporting him the the Revdex.com,his worker came to my house immediately telling me it's possible it my roof or siding but will talk to [redacted]. I never heard back from [redacted] so I called him, his excuse was it's labor weekend and he is sorry. [redacted] sent his worker back out, who pour water on my roof and wanted to tear down my siding,convinced it was not the window. I kicked the worker out and called [redacted] I told him I'm very upset I paid you a lot of money and you did not fix the problem, he said it's not there work it's your roof or siding & continued to say something about my house, but I hung up on him. He did try calling back but I did not return his phone call I DO NOT trust his company to come to come back into our home, they made my window problem worse and my deck looks very sloppy. He scammed my sister & I a lot of money!Desired Settlement: The service we received was not worth the money we paid. I want my window fixed & my deck but I don't trust this company to come back into our home, so we would like a refund so I can pay someone to do the job correctly

Please be advised that we haveoffered to repair & guarantee the repairs, regarding this complaint. Thecustomer has refused to cooperate, and allow us to do the repairs. During thewindow installation, the wood around the window was completely rotted, at whichtime we replace all the rotted wood & the customer compensated us for thisextra work and material. The customer did request service to a post on thedeck, and we went out & serviced immediately. The deck is made of naturalmaterials, not composite, and wood will tend to shrink and twist. If there anyany other problems with the deck, we would gladly come out & repair becausewe stand behind our work, as a member of the Revdex.com, in good standing. Itwas only after several rain storms (the wettest summer ever) that the customerhad issues with the leak near the window. We have offered & still offer toremedy any issues with the work that we completed. After discovering the leakis coming from the roof, and possibly siding, not the window we installed, weeven offered to make necessary repairs that would stop the leak, at no charge.If the customer refuses to let us remedy the problem, please provide a detailedestimate that the customer has, detailing the scope of work that they claimneeds to be done for $4000.

Review: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:Mr. [redacted]I am very irate because my sister and I are not rich, we paid you to repair a leaking window and my window still leaks. I did cooperate, I let [redacted] come to my house on Sept 5 the day he let water hit the roof and siding only, NEVER check the window, he was convinced it was my roof or siding. If [redacted] was an expert, he would have checked the window as well to make sure it was installed correctly but he didn't he just wanted to take down the siding. There are many people that are experts in what they do, but they are not perfect and can make mistakes.I reported you to the Revdex.com because I don't trust you as a contractor, you are not addressing the window, by inspecting it, to make sure it was installed properly.
