Regarding complaint ID ***Action ID ***,We can't express enough how disappointed we are to read this complaintThis complaint is absolutely unfairWe checked in this TV with the broken connector problem which is, by the way, a very common complaintBut, after putting this TV on the
bench and when we were ready to work on it, we found out the TV wouldn't turn onWe ordered modules for it, and that's why it took four days instead of dayAfter the modules came in we traced the problem to the timing control module, which in the version of this TV is part of the LCD panelAt this point, the TV was unrepairable or not cost effectiveWe immediately notified the customer and asked to come in so we could show everything while the TV was open on theCustomer was obviously disappointed, but understandingIronically, at the "Desired Outcome" of this complaint the customer wants a TV of the same amount she was ready to pay for the repair, but that's exactly what we offered to this customer: one of the TVs is the same size for $and second one is a larger size for $The customer refused to consider itThe customer's accusations of us meddling with the modules on her TV is absolutely laughable to say the leastWe have nothing to do with this TV not workingWe didn't break it, we are a repair shop that has been in business since We don't break things, we repair themWe consider this complaint to be absolutely unfair.Thank you,*** ***
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
At this point I do not believe that the business is willing to accept any wrong doing. I never at any point accepted his explanationrather the owner had said to give him additional time to work on the issue and when I still didn't hear from him I phoned himThis time he was extremely rude and hung up on me, at which time I called him back and advise I would be reporting him to the Revdex.com. He obviously is not willing to come to a resolution so I will now consider taking legal action against him

Regarding complaint ID [redacted]. Customer Ms. [redacted] didn't provide any new information. However, from our side, we insist that we have nothing to do with the problem this TV has. Customers bring television sets in which they believe contain certain problems, but in the shop we see different problems of which customers are not aware off. In reality, we see it quite often, and this is definitely one of those cases. We suspect the problem happened with this TV when Ms. [redacted] tried to disconnect her TV from the cable box or other devices connected to it. It's called static electricity. There's a high chance that this problem was inflicted to the TV while Ms. [redacted] carried it to her car, the way it was positioned in the car, and the way she removed it from the car and carried to the shop. We realize that for the customer that it's very hard to admit, but nevertheless the TV was brought into [redacted]'s TV in a non-working condition. The customer is under the impression that the TV has a broken connector but in actuality it has a different problem related to the LCD panel. When we invited Ms. [redacted] into the shop to talk and we were polite, considerable, and respectful, and Ms [redacted] was upset but understanding of what was happening. Overnight Ms [redacted] changed her position and wrote complaints everywhere she could possibly write. We disagree with the tone of this complaint, we didn't do anything wrong with this TV, and we have nothing to do with the condition this TV was brought in.-[redacted]'s TV Sales & Service
