Tri-Wave Carpet Reviews (1)

We had Tri Wave come out to the house some time ago and do work. The work included installing carpet up our stairs, flooring in our laundry room, layed the metal strips separating the wash room and living room and molding around the base in the wash room. Almost immediately afterward,I [redacted](daughter on [redacted]) called Tri Wave and spoke with [redacted] letting him know that the carpet was buckling up from under the metal strip in the wash room(this presents as a tripping hazard) and there was still a squeak while walking up our stairs. The reason for installing carpet was to resolve the squeak. He said that he would come out and fix the problem...and nothing.A while after, we had water damage in the wash and the wood base, this started popping up(not real wood but pressed). I called back several times,my daughter [redacted], and my mother [redacted] have called. One guy even mentioned to me he had several men out working at the Myrtle Beach and he would call us as soon as he had someone come back to work on these issues. We are tired of calling and need to reach out to other agencies that will help us resolve this issue and the Revdex.com being just one. Thanks[redacted] and [redacted]Product_Or_Service: carpetDesired SettlementMy desired resolution is to have a manager from Tri Wave call us,set up a time to come out to our home and actually, in good faith, repair all necessary work.Business Response Dear This note is in response to case number [redacted]. I talked to [redacted], at the Revdex.com, and after hearing my defense she recommended that I put my information in a written response. On the day we got this complaint faxed to us we went to Miss [redacted] house and we replaced the molding she said was not there but the track system was still there. We were greeted by daughter, [redacted], who began to tell us that the washing machine line busted and water went everywhere. The molding will swell up due to water damage, this is something that she should call her insurance company for. Her floor was installed more than a year ago, our labor warranty is for a year. We went ahead and replaced the molding free of charge that she referenced in the complaint, however, we did not replace all of the water damaged molding because that damage was caused by an external source and had nothing to do with our original installation which would be covered under the standard warranty.Thank YouTri-Wave Carpet[redacted], President
