I have reviewed the complaint from Mr [redacted] Triad Radiology Associates reads all the MRIs for Ortho Carolina located in Winston-Salem and one of our radiologist did provide the professional interpretation of Mr [redacted] 's MRI performed on November 17, The radiologist report indicates that the study was a "MRI of the lumbar spine" This report was sent to the physician at Ortho CarolinaTriad Radiology does not read the xrays that are taken at Ortho Carolina Normally these are read in their office by the Ortho Carolina physicians This may be what Mr [redacted] is referring to when he stated that "I watched my doctor do this" I am also a patient at Ortho Carolina and my physician has at times shown me the xrays done in the office as part of my exam so I know this is their process.Mr [redacted] was charged only for the interpretation of the MRI The charge was $and there was an insurance adjustment of $with a remaining balance of $ The balance is the responsibility of the patient for services performed by the Triad Radiology physicianI am sorry there seems to be confusion on the services provided We are always more than happy to speak with patients and answer any of their questions about a bill they received from us To my knowledge, this is our first inquiry from Mr [redacted] .If I can supply additional information, please contact me.Sincerely, Linda S [redacted] , C F O

I have reviewed the complaint from Mr. [redacted].  Triad Radiology Associates reads all the MRIs for Ortho Carolina located in Winston-Salem and one of our radiologist did provide the professional interpretation of Mr. [redacted]'s MRI performed on November 17, 2015.  The radiologist report...

indicates that the study was a "normal MRI of the lumbar spine".  This report was sent to the physician at Ortho Carolina. Triad Radiology does not read the xrays that are taken at Ortho Carolina.  Normally these are read in their office by the Ortho Carolina physicians.  This may be what Mr. [redacted] is referring to when he stated that "I watched my doctor do this".  I am also a patient at Ortho Carolina and my physician has at times shown me the xrays done in the office as part of my exam so I know this is their normal process.Mr. [redacted] was charged only for the interpretation of the MRI.  The charge was $222.00 and there was an insurance adjustment of $66.36 with a remaining balance of $155.64.  The balance is the responsibility of the patient for services performed by the Triad Radiology physician. I am sorry there seems to be confusion on the services provided.  We are always more than happy to speak with patients and answer any of their questions about a bill they received from us.  To my knowledge, this is our first inquiry from Mr. [redacted].If I can supply additional information, please contact me.Sincerely, Linda S[redacted], C F O

Review: I have went to Forsyth Medical Center on 09/18/2012 due to having severe abdominal pain. The Doctor in the Emergency Department ordered a CT Scan. After it was read, according to the doctor, everything was normal, and then I was then checked out of the Emergency Department. I then went to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center Emergency Department for a 2nd opinion the same night, I was admitted to the hospital for 3 days. I hereby disputing the amount of 191.00 for the CT Scan Reading due to the representative from Triad Radiology read the results incorrectly. Disputed amount of $191.00Desired Settlement: I am disputing the invoice amount of $191.00 and requesting this invoice be removed from Collections as well as removed from My credit report from all 3 Major Credit Bureaus.
