Dear Sir:I have been out of town quite frequently and did not receive your response. Please note that the business did threaten to send me to collections and I remain dissatisfied. I want confirmation that I will not be referred to collections. I also believe that it is absolutely unfair to a consumer who has done nothing wrong to be stricken from doing business with a company

As previously explained, Triangle Air Care, Incperformed a service for Ms*** and she refused to pay us. Therefore, we removed her from our customer files. We pride ourselves on customer service. Therefore as a courtesy, we agree not to pursue collection provided Ms*** agrees in writing to cease all slander and libel towards Triangle Air Care, Inc. Thank you, *** ***

As per phone conversation, Mr *** response: There was never a service agreement and by refusing to pay the $service fee that voided any warranty Mr *** does not wish to do any business with this consumer in the future

I am rejecting this response because:As discuss over the phone with the manager, his last response was "sir in a nut shell you will have to pay the $95 fee, and we will not cancel your service agreement", I in response told him I will send a check by mail to them because the warranty is worth more than $95. but I should of been informed of such service charge ahead of time, but as they put it I slipped threw the cracks  as they try to tell everyone, I was not given this information on my related charge/fee.  well I know now and will pay the fee, keep my service agreement with them per the service manager,  and I hope they never have to actually come back to perform any work on my unit.

We were called to Mr. [redacted] house to give an estimate for the replacement of his HVAC equipment only.  [redacted], Our Installation Manager, was the one who performed this estimate.  He made mention that it was an all rigid duct board system in fairly good condition.  There was one...

area that [redacted] asked [redacted], our Lead Installer to fix.  We did not even mention this to Mr. [redacted] because he was giving us a hard time and we did not want to cause any other distractions.  There was nobody, including [redacted], our Installation Manager, that knew anything about his master bedroom being warner than other rooms in his house. I was over 90 degrees in the house on the day of installation and the unit had not been in operation for some time.  He had had others out to put Freon in the system thinking that was all it needed.  If we would have know about this room I can promise you we would have addressed it.  The unit was then and on the Service Call blowing very good in the Master Bedroom.  If he wants more all he has to do is call us and we will be glad to give him and estimate to do this.I will say that we all apologize that our Office Manager did not tell Mr. [redacted] that there would be a charge if it was not equipment related.  We do try our best to tell everybody this but sometimes someone slips thru the cracks.  This does not automatically mean that the customer does not have to pay for services rendered.  I am not sure what he is even talking about when he mentions Conn's.It just seems odd that he waited some 45 days to call us and he admits that he thought it was going to be FREE.  He does not have any type of Service Agreement with us and by him refusing to sign and pay his bill we have all of the rights in the world to refuse his service and void any warranties that we may have with him.[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:  While I appreciate the business doing the right thing and agreeing not to refer anything related to this matter for collection, I respectfully object to categorizing my complaint as "slander" or "libel", which has the chilling and negative effect of trying to deter customers from filing complaints with the Revdex.com.  What I will agree to is this:  if the company will agree to fully withdraw any collection efforts or credit bureau reporting, I will agree to close this complaint.  I have not done anything wrong and have witnesses to support what the company did.  I have not been in Beaumont very long but this is a poor reflection of how companies should treat any customer.

We in no way were trying to "rip" of AHS. We totally stand behind our diagnosis and repairs. We were in the process of trying to help this lady and she would not let us. All of the other stuff she has said does not mean anything to us. I would like to once again suggest she brush up on her HVAC skills before she try to tell trained technicians on how to do their job. If we had been given the chance to finish our job everything would have been fine. But once you start calling us names and telling us to get off of your property to game is pretty much over with us. I have nothing else to say to this lady. As far as I am concerned she is just wasting my time with all of this garbage.

I am rejecting this response because: the response provided is not accurate. I did call the tech a fraud and as he was leaving at his managers orders... I did advise him to not return to the property. Triangle air has ill equip and trained techs. They lied on the invoice which is why I would not make the payment. I advised the tech to have the invoice be recorded accurately or I would not sign the invoice or pay for the service as it was not true. Triangle air wanted to charge American home shield for equip they damaged during their visit. I have wasted enough time with this company and pray that they evaluate and retrain their employees before they continue their shoddy work. Thankfully American Homeshield knows the type of company triangle air is and is allowing me to have a company that is reliable come out to fix what triangle air screwed up.  I never reported the thermostat as damaged during my claim with American home shield as that is not even an option.... I had to stop [redacted] from hanging up the phone to tell him what was wrong with my unit and why I was requesting service... He told me while making the appt that he just had that the ac was not working on his work order.  I will be sharing this response with American home shield so they can compare their work order with what is written in the response, I will not promote theft and deceit nor will I lie.  The lord will judge us in the end and he knows exactly what has occurred.  Yall are liars and should be ashamed.

I am rejecting this response because: Per conversation with [redacted] service manager, it was explained that I would not be making that $95 payment until the following month (dec) in which he agreed. I was told as long as I did so, they would not terminate my service agreement with them. I have a 1 yr parts and labor agreement with them, and I will continue to have this agreement with them as long as the $95 fee is paid. in which they will receive the check today. I also will no longer do any future business with this company, but I will hold them to their obligations to repair my unit if needed per service agreement when I paid them $5400. There is no way I will allow them to hustle me out of $95, then drop a service agreement which has already been paid for in the $5400 payment. the $95 fee that is owed is separate obviously, and if left unpaid they have the right to take me to court behind it if necessary. but I paid $5400 and that is final. im obligated to still receive  every warranty or service agreement that came with that price tag, or I will be looking for a refund. I am also willing to fight for what is owed to me in a court of law.

Response:We were contacted by Ms. [redacted] to perform an HVAC inspection on a house that she was buying. She informed me that the form she was sending us was for insurance purposes. I am the only one who can sign these types of forms since I am license holder for Triangle Air Care,Inc. We did get the...

form and we sent a technician out to her home to perform this inspection. I told Ms. [redacted] at this time that I would not sign her form until I saw the report and that she paid for our services. We did quote her $95 for the inspection and we had a small repair fee to clean out the jet burners to make sure it would fire correctly. If it would not fire correctly it would be dangerous to operate this furnace. The next day Ms. [redacted] called and disputed the charges and refused to pay. The importance of the form was for us to verify that the furnace and A/C was in proper working condition. Until we cleaned the burners it was not and that is why we cleaned these burners. I told Ms. [redacted] that she needed to take her business elsewhere and never once mentioned anything about turning her over to collections. We have removed her from our customer files and labeled her a "NO RESPONSE" customer. [redacted]Sent on: 8/30/2016 3:17:11 PM

Really, I am so over this lady. She was rude to everyone she spoke to in our office. She refused to pay. I have said once and I will not say it again, we are thru with her. I told her to hire another company because she was just not worth our time. I think as a company I have the right to refuse service that has given us nothing but grief. While we are asking for things she told me that she was going to tell everybody she knows not to use us. I want her to retract that statement and reserve the right to file a complaint on her if she says one foul thing about us or we will turn her over to the collection agency.

I voided the $95 Service Call he has one year of labor with us and 10 years of parts with the Trane Co. We will honor our one year labor agreement but I have told him he has no service agreement with us. If a part on the unit breaks in the first year we will fix it. It does not cover anything outside of the Trane components. After the year is up he is on his own and can get any Trane dealer to work on his unit if they will. As far as I am concerned this matter is closed.[redacted]

On 6-2-2015 we received a Work Order from The American Home Shield Company about her A/C System not working properly. The report said that it was freezing up and it was running even though the thermostat was off. Our Technician diagnosed a faulty 24 volt Contactor and also a blower relay that...

would not allow the fan to come on. He replaced both of these components and then went inside to start checking his system out and found that the thermostat was also faulty. Our requirements are to call AHS for authorization. Before we could complete this Mrs. [redacted] got very upset and took her credit card away from our tech and told him he was basically a crook and told him that she was not going to pay for anything. Our Service Manager was going to try to get everything authorized for her before Mrs. [redacted] asked our Tech to leave and never come back. At this time we did ask our Tech to leave her house.
In some of Mrs. [redacted]'s emails she must have some sort of HVAC experience even though it does not match up to ours. Sometimes you have to cut wires to put new parts on old systems. She apparently did not like this and said some very harsh words to our Technician which he did not deserve.
I have reported all of this to American Home Shield and they have taken us off of her call and will be contacting her.
As to her Desired Settlement, if we had been given the opportunity to finish our job we would have gotten her taken care that day or at the very latest, the next day, once we had gotten all approvals from AHS. We will not be paying for any of her hardships.
