First and foremost- please
accept our apologies for any inconvenience. I am new to the community but have been brought up to speed on the situation. It’s my understanding that the first few audible alarms were related to a retail storefront, and others, either general trouble and/or supervisory signals The most recent incident was a result of a faulty smoke detector(s) in the elevator lobby. An inaccurate signal was delivered to the main panel, causing the system to react as if there were smoke within the area. Due to safety measures the Austin Fire Department's policy is to inspect the entire building prior to silencing horns. Our service team assisted with the completion of this inspection upon arrival, and had the horns silenced as quickly as possibleOur fire protection vendor has since replaced all smoke detectors within the elevator lobby. Rest assured that all repairs relating to our fire safety system are completed in a timely manner and treated with the utmost level of importance. Fire systems have many thousands of components and can often be temperamental however, for the protection of everyone in the building, the system will always react as if there were an actual fireUnfortunately we will not be able to terminate your lease agreement as a result of this inconvenience however, please rest assured, that we have taken the necessary precautions to limit the possibility of this happening in the future As of 8/12/there have been zero alarms at the community Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns and thank you for your time
