Complaint[redacted] failed to install hardwood floors. He also took $100 to complete an additional project, he never returned to complete the project. During the Summer of 2015, my wife and I hired a contractor to install hardwood floors in our home. This contractor failed to complete the work within the specified time; he was fired because he could not get his subcontractors to report to work everyday and because he damaged parts of our floors and doors. [redacted] contacted my wife after the he was released. He said that he could repair the damages and complete the work. A contract was signed on 06/19/2015 (Invoice # XX-XXXXX). [redacted] conducted [redacted] poor work 1st by not place down plastic in his work are and by doing his cutting in our garage. We spent 2 days alone in cleaning up dust. [redacted] damaged a tv cable that was laid. He said that a new cable would have to be ran, but it would cost $100.00. He was paid in cash, but did never returned to complete the work. I attempted calling him a multitude of times on his cell phone and I sent text messages. He never responded. Last Fall I attempted to contact the parent company that was listed on his card, Triangle Cleaning Services. I sent a compliant to the listed email address on the his card that he had provided to me earlier. I have yet to get a response. Meanwhile during the past several months I have called and text, but [redacted] failed to respond. Recently I decided to look up his name on whitepages.com. I located a new phone number. In calling, I spoke with his wife. She said that he would return my call. He text my cell phone on 02/08/2016 and was very apologetic. He stated in this text "Hey [redacted], I won't be home until late send me your address again. I'll send you either a money order or money gram wire on Thur for the $100.00". I spoke with him on 02/11/2016 and reminded him that the money that he attempted to steal was not the only issue. He told me that he would come back out to repair seals on the doors that he did not do correctly and asked me to send pictures thru my cell phone. I contacted [redacted] again on 02/17/2016, after finding that he had not provided the refund of the $100.00 that he accepted to complete a new project. [redacted] told me that he remembered that he had done some extra work in my home in which he needed to deduct fees. I asked to him why did he have to wait a couple of weeks to present this made up story to me. I reminded him of his text message communication were admitted to eloping with our money and were he agreed to pay it back. He said that after he deducted his fees that he would send me $40.00. I told him to send me all the money that he stole or don't send me [redacted]. I have found since then that he is operating under a made up parent company of Triangle Cleaning Services and the Property Care Team.
