I hired this firm to handle a serious custody issue involving parental alienation I went in for the initial consult, *** *** stressed that this matter needed immediate attention, as I had not seen my son in two months Once the $retainer fee was paid, NOTHING happened I was assigned attorney ***, who I did not consult withThe opposing party was easily able to engage the attorney and paralegal in redundant emails that accomplished absolutely nothing I informed them of this strategic delay that was standard for the opposing counselThey assured me they would handle this, and did the exact opposite.Their inability to handle opposing counsel lead to an extensive and unacceptable time (over months) to initiate therapy, subsequently leaving me no choice but to agree to continue the hearing All this time I have not been able to see my son, making the situation even worse Opposing counsel requested documentation The paralegal waited until the day before this was due to ask me to send the information, and said they were filing an extention of time (adding more charges to me) This happened on two occasions Court was again continued After a year of "representation" my retainer, and an additional $1000, was exhausted and I was in a worse position than when I came to them for help, and still had not seen my child At this point they demanded more money I was unable to come up with additional funds so they wasted no time dropping my issue
Repeated procrastination and lack of representation caused detrimental delay in my case, and almost two years without my child
I requested a refund from this attorney, and they refused to do so
I have had to hire another attorney to repair the damage done by this incompetent firm The new attorney charges a flat fee (which is a fraction of the excessive fee charged by Triangle divorce) to handle the issue Within ONE WEEK of hiring the new attorney, I was able to see my child She has handled opposing counsel and has not allowed them to repeatedly violate the court order
DO NOT HIRE TRIANGLE DIVORCE LAWYERS IF YOU NEED GOOD/MORAL/TIMELY/REASONABLE ATTORNEYS!!!
