Triangle Tire Company

I purchased a used tire on 6/16/14 and was very disappointed with the service I received. They gave me a bad tire with a nail on the inside.I purchased a tire from this company based on the advertisements of quality used and new tires. The date of purchase was 6/16/14. I had a nail in my tire which could not be fixed. They gave me yet another tire with another nail and worn out tread. I didn't notice until this morning. I called to voice my concern of me being an [redacted] female who was taking advantage of by the men there. I really don't understand how you could treat anyone like this. The guy at the store told me to not call anymore and do not have any of my family or friends to do business there. He didn't care about how I felt and said that he was not going to help me. He hung up on me! I paid for this with my [redacted] card in the amt of 24.00. He could have offered to give me a refund or a new tire. I'm entitled to feel how I want and no-one should do business in this manner. Desired SettlementI would like for this company to show some respect to customers who work hard for their money. I just wanted them to either give me a refund or give me a new tire. Business Response We normally deal with customer complaints being that this is the used tire business. We also have on file a legal waiver signed by the customer stating that she was in full understanding that she was purchasing a tire with no warranty expressed or implied. Under usual circumstances we are more than happy to help a customer out within the first few days of purchase with no problem (even if the customer is at fault). In this case the customer called several times claiming the we only sell faulty used tires to people of [redacted] decent. My wife, who hails from [redacted] and who also happens to have [redacted] skin, got a good laugh out of that one. We are simply denying any further service to this person because we do not appreciate the language she prefers to use, or the false claims that she is implying about our service. We will not tolerate abusive language and [redacted] comments from anyone who enters this establishment, especially former customers. She will receive no refund, and no tire. I will however be happy to meet her in court with a waiver signed by her stating that she fully understood that there was no warranty associated with this purchase.Consumer Response I can't believe that this gentleman would still be an dishonest individual. I was never disrespectful to him and I had to call back because he kept acting like a child and hanging up on me. I'm entitled to how I feel and I know that I was sold a bad tire on purpose. He totally took advantage of a female coming in to purchase a tire. God bless his soul for telling a lie. I will never do business with them again and will tell others not to purchase tires from this shop. Final Business Response We are very happy to hear that you will not be returning. You have been warned and if you do return we will prosecute you for trespassing. Please feel free to tell all of your friends not to come either. You picked the wrong person to try and play the [redacted] card, as I again do not tolerate [redacted] in any form.
