Triangle Tube

We have a boiler from Triangle Tube which has disintegrated and ruined our hot water lines and made our water unsafe to drink. We received great tech support in which it was explained to us that the older tubes did in fact disintegrate under some conditions. We were told those were discontinued so we got a new tube and had it replaced. The warranty manager was defensive and rude and denied that the old tubes were discontinued because they were malfunctioning. He claimed they were only changed because they found a new manufacturer and that there are still plenty of the old tubes out there. So, now we don't know if our replacement part will also disintegrate and further clog our pipes and be unsafe for us to drink the water. Do not buy from this company.

Before I can answer this complaint I would need to have the serial number of the unit in question.

I never received this complaint.  Mr. [redacted]  had taken his complaint to New Jersey Office of the Attorney General and I have spoke to a mediator and should have a resolution soon.

As I had previously stated on Revdex.com claim #  [redacted] from [redacted], before I can respond I would need to have the serial number from the unit in question.  I would need to look up the unit to see the notes that would have been entered by our techs before I would be able to discuss....

Review: Triangle Tube has informed me in writing that my hot water tank is under warranty.

My plumber (Popular Plumbing) has inspected it and submitted pictures of the tank to them.

My plumber believes there is a defect in the tank and has put this in writing to Triangle Tube.

Triangle Tube refuse honoring the warranty at this time.

They refuse to send a representative to inspect the tank.

The tank is leaking and I have a problem getting hot water because of this.

The representatives have been rude to myself and my plumber and have hung up on me.Desired Settlement: Either refund price of tank or credit supply house so that my plumber can pick it up and install it.

I will pay for installation charges.
