The crawlspace drainage system had a 20 year guarantee. There have been repeated failures of the system and the owner is not responding.Triangle Waterproofing was hired in June of 2010 to grade in my crawlspace and to install a sump pump. The job proposal assured a 20 year guarantee on the entire job including the pump itself. A brief history follows:June 2010 - grading and installation of drainage system, including sump pump, under house, with 20 year warrantyMay 19, 2011 - pump ceases to work. Called but owner failed to return call.May - June 2011 - two more calls (at least) made to the company with no responseJune 2011 - Employee arrives to inspect system - no resolution2 weeks later - Employee returns - without appointment and purportedly replaces the sump pump.Sept 25, 2013 - Air conditioning unit under house fails. Repaired at cost of $199. Cause of failure is sump pump - which has again failed. AC representative had to vacuum water from under the house, and informs me that the AC will be irreparably damaged if the moisture continues.Sept. 25, 2013 - Called Triangle Waterproofing to report failure - received return call within 24 hours - was assured matter would be taken care ofOct. 16, 2013 - Called again to follow up as no one has come to repairOct. 24, 2013 - Called again to follow up as no one has come to repair or returned previous call.Nov 4, 2013 - Letter mailed via certified mail indicating this complaint would be created. Still no response. The proposal was accepted from Triangle Waterproofing on June 24, 2010.This job was paid in full - half at the time of excavation and half upon completion. The total cost was $2275.00.Desired SettlementI am seeking fulfillment of the warranty promise for the full 20 years which includes currently replacing the sump pump, locating the cause of failure (at no charge to me), and reimbursement of the $199 repair fee for the air conditioning unit. Consumer Response: Several months ago I filed a complaint about Triangle Waterproofing. While they did not respond to your overtures, they did eventually take responsibility for the problem and fixed it to my satisfaction. They also reimbursed me for the money it cost to repair the damage that was the result of their sump pump not working. Is there anyway that I can reflect that on your site. I don't want there to be any more negative feedback due to my complaint. He isn't very responsive but it was resolved.Thank you,[redacted]

Damaged sewer pipe during course of waterproofing work; improperly replaced dirt after excavation; failed to respond to multiple contact attempts. [redacted] Waterproofing conducted waterproofing work at the above named property prior to ts sale in 2012. The warranty was transferred to the buyer. Initially, at the time of sale, [redacted] was consulted and questioned the manner in which excavated soil was replaced. Subsequently, the sewer pipe exiting the home was found to be leaking and causing backup of sewage and moisture into the basement wall. [redacted] Plumbing was consulted and found that the sewer pipe had been damaged by machinery likely at the time of waterproofing. The entire line required replacing and the front lawn now requires replacing. [redacted] Waterproofing was contacted by phone, mail, email, and fax to view the property prior to plumbing repair and discuss options. There has been no response to date. The plumbing repair has been documented in photographs. Desired Settlement1. Payment for repair of the sewer pipe caused by the waterproofing work - $3400.00. 2. Payment for replacing the lawn. The plumbing bill of %3400 including the plumber's statement that the damage was caused by the waterproofing service was received by Triangle Waterproofing via certified mail on 10/7/13. A request to contact me was included. There has been no response.
