Triangle Way Karate

Review: My son [redacted] has attended Triangle Way Karate for two months shy of a year. For the month of Feb instructor and owner [redacted] closed classes due to snow Feb [redacted] and [redacted]. He then closed again from his illness Feb [redacted]. When I wrote him an email asking him to take the tuition money I paid for Feb and apply it to March and that we would like to take a break for Feb he said we could not. We did attend one class and I asked what his policy was. We have no contract, no policy on makeups for snow days or his sick days. We hadnt attended due to him closing. I accepted his response and attended class even though my son was not feeling great bc we had to pay. He then sends me a separate email at 10PM Feb [redacted], stating he would honor my request with the condition that we no longer attend his dojo after March. He said my sons attention disorder was distracting other students abilities to concentrate. My son has no disability, and I felt it was rude of him to kick us out of his dojo bc we simply asked about makeup days and freezing an account. Out of the whole year he never discussed concerns about my son until money was involved. He also labeled him with a disability he doesnt have. He is punishing my son and being unprofessional bc he took something personnel.Desired Settlement: I would like him to refund me the tuition for the month of Feb with the exclusion of the one class we attended. The total cost of tuition is 85 dollars. He could keep 5 dollars for the class we did attend. I would also like a formal apology in writing.
